  2. Ah you're all thinking, "Martha Reeves and the Vandellas" but it's not about the song or about getting married , its about my lazy third Finger left Hand. Sounds like a newbie question ,maybe it is ,I've only been playing seven years. Anyway my problem is the aforesaid finger not doing as I want it to, and it never has since I've been playing, so as far as covering four frets is concerned with four fingers ,I find this impossible so I just shift over and use another finger. Now it's no biggie but as I'm advancing I think as a Player maybe I should go all out and try and train this finger to do what my Brain is trying to tell it to do because it just won't move. So to you Knowledgeable players out there...Does anyone have any suggestions to get this lazy finger working.?
  3. i got asked to play any Irish song, so we played Hit me with your rhythm stick, the guy said that's not an Irish song ,so i changed the words to ..Hit me with your shovel Mick ,they loved it😂

  6. Ah ok it sounds like the Package didnt leave Germany then. Here's a timeline and tracking info from both Thomann and DHL in Respect of my Bass purchase from them.
  7. Not really you are given tracking info from Thomann by email when the goods have been collected from their warehouse in Germany, admittedly no tracking info available when the package is on the Plane, but it is recorded when the package arrives at the UK and after custom clearance which is when tracking is available from then on.?Did you get any tracking info after the aformentioned procedure.?

  11. I get that, i was a Coal Miner for 12 odd years late 70s and into the 80s and used to get all sorts of aches and pains,in my hands. If was still doing a Job like that now I don't think i'd be able to play the Bass guitar
  12. Do you clench on your sleep? Your hands that is...Not that i'm aware of,unless the trouble and strife has noticed anything.
  13. Been practising and playing quite heavily recently in fact i was at it until 1 am this morning, somewhere the region of 8 hrs playing trying to learn a set list for a 60s rock n Roll outfit I'm about to be part of.Anyway woke up in night with Pins n Needles in both Hands.Never had this before,Anyone one else had it ?
  14. You can't just buy a Guitar like buying a T-shirt, homework has to be done, in fact in my book that applies to most things.I made an error just the other week not a Guitar but a Lawnmower. My trusty Bosch Mower which i have had for 15 years finally gave up the ghost. I naturally thought it's another Bosch Mower for me,so i bought on line at B&Q for collection, got it home and upon closer inspection it was flimsy with thinner plastic, difficult to set the blade height, the grass box came in two pieces with two clips which kept coming undone rendering the thing useless.Anyway gave it a run out and thought this is nothing like the original one, went to alter the blade height and trapped a finger nearly ripping my finger end off after which i began to see red, i felt like John Cleese in Faulty Towers after his Austin Maxi broke down and he thrashed it with a Tree Branch,i would have done the same had their been a branch handy.A bit more product knowledge revealed that the thing was made in China with a Bosch badge on the side of it,the thing went straight back to B&Q.Funnily enough even the staff agreed it was a load of TAT in comparison to the original Bosch ones.

  17. inflation in Britain is nearly always caused by this country's Obsession with Growth, one would have thought by now we would have learned something looked at Japan and tried to copy their model .Very tiny growth with by far a better standard of living. We could with doing something about illegal immigration but successive governments choose not 7 million per day and counting.
