    The cover isn't attached to the scratchplate, from what I recall you would simply unscrew the cover. andy

    evening folks, great news about the bass and shipping. I don't know Jake nor really care what happens to him here but I will say this; it would appear that there is two factions emerging, the we hate Jake and the we forgive you Jake camps. I think we should really be careful and try to drop this as hate is pretty powerful and destructive whilst perhaps sympathy can be seen as equally misplaced and frustrating. WE NEED NOT BE AT ODDS WITH EACH OTHER OVER THIS and yes I'm trying to shout the loudest because this forum has proved in the last couple of days how good it is and as individuals our sense of justice and decency. We all need to allow the mods to do their job and make a decision regarding Jake in their own time. I'm damn sure it will be well thought out and deliberated on to the point of splitting hairs. Lets all get on with the good world of basschat. andy

    the neck pup is only a cover, the pup sits slightly below the scratchplate. now, lysdexia, the attitude is not meant to be slapped! andy

    great pics! I didn't recognise Ali when I first saw him at the return gig. i recall feeling disappointed there was no Bruce but that soon subsided on realisation! andy

    fantastic bass player! it was an absolute pleasure watching him team up with and buy into SLF, I'm a huge fan of SLF Bruce was a natural successor to Ali McMordie and did a great job - good luck to him in all his ventures...

    can't comment on the b2re but...the b410hlf is a superb cab! it is the cheaper series with the svt410hlf being the more expensive big brother.

    dont know the bassist, he was using a guy called 'linus of hollywood' previously, who is also phenomenal! Paul is off the richter scale with his playing as well as being a real decent bloke!

    Hey mate, you'll need to drop the price by about £100 for a sale. not being negative simply realistic. the mark 1 has some kudos but anyone would want and buy mk2 at the price of £500 s/h or £800 new, unless...they were a collector but unlikely. You see, the mark 2 was a major upgrade in terms of neck stability, pups and believe it or not hipshot. the original hipshot was fraught with issues. anyway... good luck andy

    cant believe this hasn't gone yet!? these are great cabs, very manouvreable and huge in sound! I gig with mine its never let me down. a steal at £200 these originally retailed £729 - superb cabs!! good luck andy
