Isn't it hilarious the trails an innocent scamster leaves around t'internet nowadays with MySpace, Facebook, Bebo & the like
sheer stupidity!!

If Chris recognises the above photo in the bebo link - I'll attempt to mediate as I work in Glasgow and have loads of musos, on the various courses, who may know him as well as me emailing him. andy

this kind of shady activity really pisses me off! gives us up here a bad name! there is decent poster here from, Aberdeen, Ayr, Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Glasgow etc. in future folks if you buy anything up here maybe worth getting in touch to see if any of us can pick-up, check or even contact the seller. andy

I have a Gibson SG faded/worn series guitar, it is stunning for £500. this is a big problem for me, huge prices on basses because I need a working bass that is solid and dependable and will take the hits in transit. no 'boutique' instrument i have ever owned lasted the pace. andy

The cover isn't attached to the scratchplate, from what I recall you would simply unscrew the cover. andy -
Reuel's bass travel plan. (Shipping has now been paid for!)
andy67 replied to Shockwave's topic in General Discussion
evening folks, great news about the bass and shipping. I don't know Jake nor really care what happens to him here but I will say this; it would appear that there is two factions emerging, the we hate Jake and the we forgive you Jake camps. I think we should really be careful and try to drop this as hate is pretty powerful and destructive whilst perhaps sympathy can be seen as equally misplaced and frustrating. WE NEED NOT BE AT ODDS WITH EACH OTHER OVER THIS and yes I'm trying to shout the loudest because this forum has proved in the last couple of days how good it is and as individuals our sense of justice and decency. We all need to allow the mods to do their job and make a decision regarding Jake in their own time. I'm damn sure it will be well thought out and deliberated on to the point of splitting hairs. Lets all get on with the good world of basschat. andy -

the neck pup is only a cover, the pup sits slightly below the scratchplate. now, lysdexia, the attitude is not meant to be slapped! andy
