11.
I am toying with the idea of adding another Attitude to my collection as they are so good, but cannot decide whether to buy a black Ltd or one of these, hmmm. Wished the neck was Maple though.
actually...the neck is really good and doesn't suffer from not being maple. If you can, i would recommend you buy this for the price on offer because Yamaha seem to have produced a very limited run of these and, of course, they are superb! andy

  14. I decided not to read most of this because everytime these things are posted there is names I don't know...most likely jazzers playing boutique equipment, so....................the best of British...has to be the man still playing and touring with the biggest rock band in the world: AC/DC's very own Cliff Williams Solid reliable bass player who does all the right things and gets no credit for it!! here you go Cliff - you were my biggest influence when starting in 1981 and you shaped my appreciation for doing the right thing whilst being solid, dependable, reliable and above all else...for the sheer enjoyment of it all! thanks Cliff you are a star! please feel free to correct me if you dare! also if someone has mentioned him in this thread please correct me!!! andy
What's the neck profile like on it, I'm hoping the 414, 614 or the 714bs has a chunky-ish feel?
not as baseball 'battish' as the attitude but fairly chunky! billy described it as a sort of pj hybrid, thin and fast but I have no idea what he was thinking on that! its not thin about p in size but fairly chunky front to back - its 42mm at the nut - it is though fast! Yamaha BB's

I have one of these: http://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_i...714bs_lava_red/ and, I'm very impressed! andy
  21. hmmm, I don't believe it! looking closely at the neck in particular, 1. I would have expected the binding to have aged with the body, ivroy not persil nor daz white. 2. why the extra holes in the heel? 3. if you look closely enough you will see an indented ridge along the bottom of the heel, where it joins the body and is visible, this makes me think it came off another bass with a very tight pocket join! andy
  22. looking to trade my all valve trace elliot v4 for an ampeg svt 4 pro anybody? andy
  23.
I've been told I'm very good and the last compliment I recieved was that I was 'sh*t hot on bass'. Although, having said this, I'm a woman, and therefore they're probably just trying to get in my pants.
lol! well think of it this way, if the person is fanciable...then you're onto a winner on both levels!! andy
  24. is he wanting to sell all as one? I know the cab cases are quite expensive, but I would not be looking to buy that. will you ask him if he will sell the 810 on its own? cheers andy
  25. I'm looking to buy an 810 have £500 available. andy
