Oh well! Something has to give and as usual it's one of my basses up for sale! Today we offer a 7 month old Fender Classic 50's Precision bass. In A1 condition, comes with padded case and relevant paperwork. As the more eagle eyed will notice the bridge and pick guard have been replaced for an American deluxe bridge and All Parts black 3ply (bwb) plate. The bass will be sold with original pick guard and bridge included. This is a cracking instrument far superior in every way to my previous American Pbass. It is modeled on an American 57' Precision. £450 delivered. Sadly Andy

A few V4's have turned up of late as has V6's and 8's andy
After chasing my Little Bastard order this morning I got this email - "Hi We have just chased this product up for you with Ashdown and have been advised by them that stock of the Ashdown Little Bastard is now not due to April. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused but unfortunately we are in the hands of our suppliers, this is a new product to the market and we have allocated stock on their first shipment. Therefore everyone will be in the same boat as us. Please advise how you would like to proceed with your order." I expect they picked up a few orders at NAMM so we in the UK just have to wait
Good! gives me time to save for one! andy

Nice to talk and do Business - perfect transaction! andy

That's a real shame! I have had nothing but good experience re buying and selling here. Being positive though it is repairable and when done you will have a superb instrument! Hopefully a compromise can be negotiated.

Fender Squier Telebass Heavily Modified Body SOLD
andy67 replied to Smash's topic in Basses For Sale
That is a fantastic deal! If it were mine this is what I would expect: Tuners: £15 Neck £40 Body £25 - as project piece Badass Bridge £50 Model 1 pup £40 Seymore Duncan pup £40 Scratchplate and electronics £25 totalling - £235 excluding postage. This is a fair representation and one I have experienced when selling a 'bitsa' p bass I made. Good luck andy -
If money were no object, what bass would you have?
Don't matter how many times I see this it always makes me smile
I love the band but...the presence of Ray in the initial scene and the "Nothing wrong with these keys!" starts playing, is tremendous!
Very, very, very clever indeed! But I would rather spray a can of Servisol up my own arse than have to listen to it for more than 19.24 seconds. I get more enlightening and enjoyable sounds from my washing machine. I counter with this ..
Fair enough! It's not really my cup of tea either nor Wooten (flack jacket on) but I appreciate the technical ability of both Xlaohe and Wooten. I quite like the simple groove feel underneath Xhloes arrangement. But will counter the above and raise you this:

^^ That's what I thought as well! Couldn't string a sentence together as to why?? Simply struck me as brilliant! That Vigier bass is so sexy though! andy

Fender '51 re-issue - bridge and pick-up query
andy67 replied to leemarc1970's topic in Accessories and Misc
The deluxe bridge is great! In my view better than the badass. From experience I can tell you it fits with a tiny bit of persuasion. you wont regret it! andy -
For me, Under-rated: Cliff William (AC/DC) brackets say it all really! Flawless delivery evertime! Locks in well with Phill Rudd enabling the front men to do their thing! Very simple music and bass lines but...it's music and Cliff is the traditional rock bassist! Over-rated: Well, Wooten would have been mine too so other than him...Manring why? although he pushes the boundaries further than most, I lose interest within seconds! He is more mechanical/technical to me than a flowing natural player. andy
