1. Been watchin this too, scrutinising the bidding though!!
2. I ended up cancelling my Little Bastard because of the poor communications from both Sounds Live and Ashdown in-regards to delivery. I posted on their facebook site that they really ought to do better and got a rather snippy email from Dan Gooday. He removed my comments from the site because they were detrimental to the brand! My post was this exactly: Due to ambiguity of deliver I have canceled the Little Bastard I had on order...Must do better guys. I was really disappointed my post was removed mostly because feedback is priceless for people researching a brand but more so because he has now devalued the facebook page.. Had it been me I would have posted underneath something like - really sorry it's not worked out for you I'll have it all up-dated soon. But hey. no just removed the post. So after this I will think very hard about buying another Ashdown product which is really quite a shame because I really like to support home produced equipment. good luck. andy
3.
Just in case it hadn't crossed your mind, you could always return it and get all your money back!
That would be the best bet! One of these sold for a £100 on ebay some days back and there is a left handed one still up for bin £75. Great basses good luck! andy
4. Odd one to price mate, you really need to do some research on this probably via eBay. I've seen them go from £120 - £300 when watching. Great basses nonetheless. andy
5. In my Experience and if I recall correctly...these were catalogue basses and I would assume that since they were fairly cheap, there was inconsistencies. andy
6. Geezo, tis an old 70/80's Jap Satellite bass! fantastic, well made things! why does good stuff come up for sale when I have no money!!!!! good luck andy
7. You're welcome. Some sound clips/videos here at mybands page: http://www.myspace.com/taxthedead We are all washed out old rockers these days so apologies in advance for the sloppiness! All our own songs bar the two Muse covers but we are in development stage with the originals however, the BB714 was used in the videos and the recordings. andy
8. Fabulous bass! Whoever buys it will be pleasantly surprised and well blown away. good luck andy

10. Thanks for the replies guys - lost sight of this thread!! Anyhoo, I ordered it through sounds live for an introductory price of £329 two months ago and still waiting. I will continue to wait because I got such a good deal. But must admit to getting a little twitchy and impatient.... andy

16. Hi mate, you may want to look at this: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/75465?...o0o0o0o6742531o as a guide: shop give 35% on trade-ins and s/h (unless uber desirable basses) 50% of original sale for sell-on. sorry to be depressing but it may give understanding as to why not much interest. andy
17. wish I could afford to buy it back off of you mate!
18.
madness as always Andy, im looking at portability these days and really want to be able to get my gear about without any hassle. So im going Orange, not in a king billy kinda way of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im looking at tiny terror along with a sp210. I sold my combo, im selling the new epiphhone i just got and if needs be I will be selling the ampeg rig. I know how you feel about these digital heads so im prepared to be mocked
Always madness...that's bass gear!! I've heard the Orange tiny terror and have to say I was impressed but having never gigged one can't really comment. I'm sure they have a valve front end, digital out and rated at 500w. I'm thinking portability too hence buying a small valve head and soon to own a 1x15 all ashdown of course..
19. Anyone know when these little bassas hit the shelves? Ordered and paid for one start of May but no idea of ETA. andy
20. Whats in yer heid now Steve? andy
21. Ashdown rocks! Any ABM head will do the job but if you are looking for the EB180 combo again then, Mev Taylors music shop Edinburgh has one, Chris, who owns the shop, is a great guy and will do his best to make you happy. http://www.mevtaylors.co.uk/ andy ps, should have said; it is in great condition and sounding fabby!
22. Will be when the Chinese ones appear! Ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Where did you see the 2x12 and 1x12 cabs? andy
23. I had the older tko 115 series - it was great! Again, its peavey, no frills solid bass gear that just works. andy

Changing?

I own a lovely Ampeg SVT 810e cab. It is one year old, brand new nick and has sat in my practice room for all of that time. Never gigged and used for two hours per week. I am now thinking that this cab needs to be used and gigged however, probably not by me - not gigging and nothing on the horizon......plus at 43 I'm probably pushing it a bit considering the weight of the thing. So thoughts are to be flexible I could sell it and my 515 minirig to get...wait for it...Two Ashdown cabs: 410 for the practice room and the 115 to partner my incoming Lil bassa. This would also leave me with a bit of cash to fund something else. Both mag series as I like the tone. The flexibility will come if and when I gig again as I would bring both cabs together to partner my TE V4. What think ye? Mistake? Opinions on the mag stuff? andy
