  1. Rare Godin Zeta Z-11 bass. Very well built bass, made in Canada in (I assume) the first years of the 80s. It has some cool features like piezo Bridge, ebony fretboard and wavey Grover tuners. The bass looks very good for its age. It has some minor damages like dents, but nothing significant. The neck is straight and the frets show little wear. There are a few issues concerning the electrics though: apparently the piezo Bridge is defective, and also the electronics need to be revised or (partly) replaced. The original and rare Canadian made tolex hardcase is included. Asking €650 The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk.

  3. Fender Coronado Bass ll Very nice example of a Wildwood ll Coronado Bass, made in early 1968 (neck dated Jan 18th). It's a true beauty with a rare highly flamed maple neck and lollipop tuners. The bass appears to be all original and is in very good shape for its age. It has finish checking around and some small damages, but nothing significant. The Coronado has been setup with tapewounds which suit the bass very well. It can do some vintage sounds as well as some more punchy modern tones. It sounds great when played with either fingers or pick. A sturdy epiphone hardcase is included in the sale. Asking price now €3.000 Possible trades or partial trades; precision (later 60s or early 70s player grade), Ampeg V4(b) old or reissue, Fender strat or vintage offset model. I am located in the Netherlands, but am happy to ship at buyers risk..
  4. David bought a bass from me. All went smooth, and a nice chap to communicate with. Enjoy the jazz David, and maybe till a next time

  6. I once owned a great Kasuga precision bass that I sold to a guy who replaced the decal with a vintage type Ibanez one. Just for himself as Ibby-fanboy, so ok...that's a choice. He sold it as a Kasuga with Ibby logo, but the next time it went on it already was a rare Ibanez with matching price. So any next owner will only "know" that it's an Ibanez. I should have never sold that one though, it truly was a nice one.

  8. Now he only has a rebadged Squier up: https://www.marktplaats.nl/a/muziek-en-instrumenten/snaarinstrumenten-gitaren-elektrisch/m1709869832-fender-stratocaster-60-look-squier-elektrische-gitaar-set.html Mostly he has about 3/4 faked instruments for sale. Reporting him to the site for selling counterfeits on large scale doesn't help unfortunately.
  9. I think this Fender "repair" decals are rarely used in the way they are supposed to. Of course they are great if you are actually restoring an instrument. But there are many, many, many faked up cheapos that end up being offered (if not from the first, than from a second or later owner) as real. There is a lot of pollution of the market, and a serious problem for those that don't know all about the details. On the large Dutch online marketplace there is a dude who is constantly selling rebadged cheapos (at medium price, but still too much) and his instruments turn up regularly as real or "don't know if it's completely real" fender from later owners..
  10. This is THE finish for me. As it reminds me of the moment I knew I wanted to play bass, when is saw the RHCP concert on the red Square in 1999 (on TV). As mentioned, if there wasn't any brexit... I've bought this twice...
  11. (partial) trades are welcome. Stuff you can think of; precision (fender, better Squier, good Japanese copy), music man Sabre (rosewood or ebony fretboard preferred), vintage single coil telecaster bass, stingray 2eq with lacquered neck, good old japanese stuff, vintage Fender offset guitars, maybe a nice amp... In case if a very nice and light 60s fender p is being offered, I might want to add some gear to the deal. No 5+ strings for me, thanks. Realistic offers only please.
  12. Fender CS masterbuilt jazz bass Very nice Mark Kendrick masterbuilt 66 jazz with very cool features; firemist gold finish, lollipop tuners and the distinct dotted and bound fretboard. The bass has the clear and warm sound that you wish from a 60s style jazz bass. First some pictures: As you can see, the bass has been used a lot, which has created a roadworn look through the years. It has a lot of cosmetical damages like dents and missing finish, bucklerash.. Technically the bass is good, all hardware and electronics function like they should. The frets show wear, but it doesnt affect playability. The original G&G hardcase is included, as well is a bag of unopened case candy. The certificate apparently got lost during the divorce of the former owner, so I don't have it. New Fender nps strings are fitted. I bought this beauty a month ago as roundwounded buddy for my 71 (which bears thomastik flats). After playing them both a lot, I decided that I like the thomastik flats better on a jazz currently than a set of rounds. So both ended up with a set of Thomastiks, which makes it too much luxury for me to keep them both. I'm pretty sure I'll l regret it at some point.. Fixed price €2.850 (please note that I am not interested in lower offers of any kind). The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk and expense. Payment: cash on collection or banktransfer. No PayPal. 13. Maybe a silly suggestion, but did you try the other input?
  14. Most JV squiers for sale are way overpriced IMO, because everybody is looking at other (overpriced) listings which they refer to. It's not unusual to see them for sale at €1500.. I'd rather have an American Vintage and save a little cash.. Those JVs are good basses generally, but I don't think they are necessarily much better than later Japanese squiers/fenders, mex classic or roadworn series or maybe even Squier cv basses.
