Yamaha BB800 Lovely early Yamaha BB from 1977, made in Japan. The pickup has been replaced with an OBL, but the original pickup is included. Some minor routing has been done to the pickguard. This 45 year old bass has a lot of usermarks around, but is in good condition technically. All hardware and electronics work like they should. The neck is straight and adjustable. Weight is 4.3kg on my kitchen scale. For the sale the bass will be set up with rounds, as I'll keep the flats that are fitted now. The original hardcase in included. This case is in decent condition. It's a superb bass from a great era for Yamaha basses, but I don't play it much as the neck (43mm nut) isn't comfortable for me for sessions longer than 30 minutes. €775 I am located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk.

Help Please - Tokai Jazz Sound Model ID
SurroundedByManatees replied to PigBass's topic in Bass Guitars
Did a bit of Googling, and the headstock shape, C serial and type of tuners seems to be identifying this as a Chinese Tokai from the 2000's. It's definitely not Japanese. -
Fender classic '60s Jazzmaster lacquer Fantastic classic '60s Jazzmaster from 2015. The guitar features the American Vintage '65 pickups, nitro lacquer surf green finish, and a rosewood fretboard (instead of Pao Ferro that they come with nowadays). It's a great playing and sounding guitar. The guitar has some user marks/small damages but is in overall good condition. All electronics and hardware function like they should The original Jazzmaster hardcase is included, as well is some paperwork. Fixed price: €950 I am located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk and expense.

Very nice. I like that Dakota red finish on these basses. The mods seem to have been done with love and care too, that's not always the case with mods on "student level" Fenders from that era. A few weeks ago I almost bought an unmodded one that was for sale in Italy at a vintage shop. Unfortunately the seller turned out kind of a rude *sshole in the first communication already, so I'll be waiting with patience for the right one that deserves my cash Enjoy 🙂

It has a set neck instead of neck-through construction. -

I've listened to the Unlimited Love quite a few times now and really like most of it. I think it's the best album since Californication. So I'm actually pretty excited that more is coming 🙂

Superb, what is it?

That's correct!

The guard is a modern replacement. Also I doubt the neck is original.. the logo positioning seems a bit weird, and I don't think these are supposed to have a skunk stripe. String tree appears to be lower than usual..

I wouldn't think much of it, other than that it's probably helpfull to get a low action with correct break angle over the bridge saddles. Many old Fenders even came with shims from the factory.

Fender '75 Precision Bass Cool Mocha precision from the '70s. The pickups are dated to 1975, the pots are dated 1974. It's a well playing and good sounding P bass. The neck is straight and adjustable, and allows low action. It's a pretty light instrument too, just a bit below 4kg! with covers unmounted. The neck is pretty small at the nut for a precision at 39/40mm As you can see, the bass has a lot of small damages and honest playwear. The tuners and pots have been replaced, but the original 1974 pots are included in the sale. The chrome covers and thumb rest are not original to this bass. Asking €2700 Ideally I'd offer this bass in a partial trade for a player grade <65 Fender Jazz with Brazil fretboard, max 4kg, and a refinish (as it keeps te value a lot lower). I've got more stuff to add in a trade! Otherwise I'd might be interested in (partial) trades for; old Music Man Sabre with rosewood fretboard, Modulus Flea in fancy finish. And maybe a nice vintage Mustang Bass. The bass is located in the Netherlands. Local pickup is preferred, but I am also happy to ship at buyers risk and expense. Payment wise I accept cash on collection or PayPal friends.
