Original Fender Jazz Bass neck, made in July 1965.

The neck has a padouk fretboard, as Fender did only for a few months in 1965.

 

 

This neck has been refretted with vintage style frets, and there is some chipping around the slots from defretting.

The neck is straight, adjustable, and allows a decent low action. It has a comfortable feeling as some of the finish of the back has worn away.

Originally this neck was mounted on a bass that had been finished in early 1966. I have the original (lollipop) tuners for sale separately.
