  1. Very cool and rarely offered Ampeg Reverberocket R50H guitar head from the '90s. This amp just sounds amazing with guitar and goes plenty loud. It has nice cleans but has some nice drive available. As most tube amps it will probably serve well with bass too, though I haven't tried it on a proper bass cab (yet) to be honest. The head is used but in good condition. I just received it back from a check-up. The tubes are still good and everything works fine. The original footswitch is included. The label says it's a 120 volts amp, but this is not correct (wrong label or modded) as it works on the European network. Asking €650 I am located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk and expense. As you see on the last picture, I have the matching cab too. It's available for sale , but I can't offer that one to be shipped. The cab is not included in the mentioned pricing.
  2. Very nice. It can't get much sexier than this.
  3. The tort on this jazz is one of the prettiest I've seen with some nice smokey/swirly pattern. The one on my '66 precision is more static.
  4. I like both rounds and flats on jazzes. I currently have elixirs on my ash/maple '81 Fender for that clear and deep (more modern) sounds, and La Bella 760fl on the '66 Fender which sound outstanding... A few years ago I would have laughed of you told me I was going to prefer flats... Now they're my fave. Old rounds can indeed sound pretty well on some basses
  5. Yes it will probably be fine with bass too, though Ive never tried it properly. In the 50 watt range I'm happy with my B25B at the moment :). Would love to have a v4b or similar too at one point for a bit more power.
  6. It's a guitar head so thought it might be better to list it in this section to avoid confusion.

  8. Pretty much yes. Though the original telecaster bass was actually a reissue of the original first 51 single coil precision bass, without the contours. Thanks
  9. Fender CS '55 Precision Bass Great custom shop bass. It has a light ash body with blonde finish, and the neck has a nice soft V-shape. This is a relic version, and it looks actually pretty good. The lacquer has natural looking wear with finish checking. The bass is in used but good condition, complete with certificate. It is a light instrument, weighing around 3,6kg. It has been set up with a new set of d'addario rounds. The original case is included. One latch is defective, but those can be easily replaced. Fixed price: €2.650 The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk and expense. Partial trades now negotiable. I'm interested in a good 60s oriented jazz bass (roadworn per example), Ampeg v4b, mustang bass (jmj or vintage) or maybe a good solid state head like Gallien-Krueger RB series. Also a fender Jazzmaster guitar could be of interest.
  10. As far as my knowledge goes, it seems to be the case indeed
  11. Got a few inquiries about nu width; it's 38mm. Price dropped.
  12. I've fitted this bass with a set of la Bella's to try them out. I never realized they can actually sound that nice on a good jazz bass. Totally different from the the TI's, but I like it a lot. 🙂
  13. Sage green Metallic would look nice, with a aged pearl pickguard
  14. As for trades; I'm looking for a good guitar. My interest goes out for a Jazzmaster mainly, but might consider other offsets or a strat as well.
  15. Superb bass by Tino Tedesco: This is a great bass, built by Tino Tedesco is Switzerland. Build quality, playability and sound are superb, and it balances nicely too. Weight is just around 3.6 kilo's thanks to the chambered body. The top has some nice figuring, and the fretboard shows some pretty birdseye. The pickups are active EMG, controls are passive VVT. The sound is clear but pleasantly warm. It kinda sounds like my ash/maple Fender Jazz, but with a bit more range. It's very versatile, and could easily be used in a lot of situations. As mentioned, playability is great; it's a very easy playing neck with low action. The frets are in good condition too. The strap lock system is Dunlop flush mount. The buttons are included. The condition of the bass is good. Of course it has some usermarks and small damages, but nothing significant. The truss rod, hardware and electronics are all perfectly fine. €1.250 Trades now preferred! I am looking for a good passive 60s style jazz, a good Fender Jazzmaster, an Ampeg V4(b) or maybe some other cool ss amp. I am located in the Netherlands, but I am happy to ship at buyers risk and expense.
  16. ....€1.350
