  1. Thanks for that! I’ve seen frames with threaded holes instead of just nuts.
  2. Can anybody let me know what nuts & bolts to get to secure sockets to a rack panel, please? The holes in the sockets are countersunk.
  3. A "sidegrade", as it's known...
  4. I’ll stick with my Fender. 🙂
  5. I’m sensing Fender negativity…
  6. Each to their own... My Fender Mustang MIM cost less than that double figure and it is a very good bass.
  7. £200 when you can get a Fender one for around £400…
  8. Especially after apparently joining the site just for this item.
  9. A day out on the train to pick up an instrument which is so important doesn’t seem like too much of a chore.
  10. I thought oh, oh, oh... ...then I looked at the price. Out of my league.
  11. Ah - wasn't sure if you could treat it as a black-box (where the settings via MIDI aren't visible). It's still a load of fun, though!
  12. Yes, that's true. I guess a MIDI controller could manage the settings. Alternatively, you could buy several, get a cape, grow your hair and pretend you're Rick Wakeman!
  13. The Behringer Model D is a cheap copy of a MiniMoog and the left-right layout of the controls is very logical.
  14. Sorry - I responded to pg #1, but hadn't read the whole thread!
  15. If it's still available in a month's time, I'll have it!
  16. It might have an internal switch.
  17. Someone’s got a good bass there!
  18. Now, this is a Tele bass! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115703476396
  19. I think Carlsbro Sound had become a carpet store last time I drove past.
  20. Actually, that was my next question... What does "Classic Vibe" mean? They're not labelled as such (neither VM or CV), are they? I think these days it's the other way round!
  21. Warwick have tried to shift the RockBass brand upmarket from time to time; maybe this was one of those attempts.
  22. I keep seeing mention of "Vintage Modified" Fenders & Squiers - they don't say it on them, so what does it mean?
