Pete just bought a bass of me, really easy communication, honest guy, swift payment. He also met me half way to get the bass - we both arrived early. Highly recommended, enjoy the bass Pete, thanks!
What is hip is a killer line, the speed that Rocco plays it at - wow!
I think the same as lacopo San, practice - see what feels best for you and practice some more :-)
Hello,
I am sure that's been mentioned already, but I can't find it.
I have a bass without a pickguard and would like to get one for it, where do I go?
Thank you

Read the cover carefully too - as many appear to offer cover but actually don't. Funnily enough, they are still happy to take payment for this non-existent cover...

Yup, there are as many rules as there are courier companies.
http://www.vampower.com/ - never seen any of them for sale. Probably because they only ever made about 250 amps...
I have this for sale now: I think it's pretty rare too, considering it was probably one of the very first HiWatt cabinets:

I've always found this very cool. Not just the beginning but the song too.

I know you said you don't want to do it yourself but.
You could significantly improve it by spraying the body with clear lacquer from a can then going to town wet sanding, repeating as needed then buffing etc yourself. This would be the cheapest option.
Obviously not as good as having it refinished. Its a option though.

It's not super bad as it is - so if I got anything done to it - it would be a proper refinish. Maybe with matching headstock too :-)
I will get it from my local shop shortly and then I'll see what to do.
Thank you for your opinions.

Someone is looking for one of these in the Wanted section.

I believe he got a fretless already. Thanks

Nice project! That's been painted by rattle cans. The finish you see is "orange peel" effect. It's what happens when you spray with the can too close to the work.
I've painted a few bodies with cans. But to be honest if you're wanting a perfect finish you can't beat a pro job. After all the cost of paint and other materials and your time it's money well spent.

Yes, definitely. I would not do it myself. Spending all the money on the materials etc for what would probably be one off - I might as well pay somebody who actually enjoys it and does a great job.
