  1. Can’t remember the brand, but I didn’t like clip-ons. i like the convenience of my pitchblack to mute when required.
  2. Ooh, that neck. Flamed and roasted!
  3. Cool! Been thinking about doing this just for sh#ts and giggles! What do you plan to cover it with?
  4. Version 2 - mini! I concluded having all my pedals on one board was daft, so this one will take just four pedals. Measured, cut, sanded, assembled, treated and fitted last night after work - boom!
  5. That’ll look lovely with a new scratch plate! Well done!
  6. Pictures or it didn’t happen!
  7. It looks like a partially chewed/sucked stealth-sweet. Still, I know what you mean about having a “beater” bass - leave it in the car without worrying about getting nicked, or using it as a weapon at a gig gone wrong!
  8. At £5, I’d do a couple of coats of Ronseal over the plywood - it’d still look cool! I did the same to my pedalboard;
  9. Excellent! I’m not sure the original finish will be up to much even if you did de-gunk. For a fiver(!), and with 3 different types of tuner fitted (another”!”) I’d go maybe just natural.
  10. Cool find! How much did you snag it for?
  11. I knew they reminded me of something...
  12. They look very cool!
  13. Just watched a fair few Uncle Doug vids - I want to built an amp now!
  14. Why am I thinking about Worthers Originals?
  15. I’d be inclined to varnish that so you can still see those joints- looks great.
  16. Gold anodized aluminum!
  17. I like that a lot. I think I need a black P. No, 2 back Ps; one with a black plate, the other with gold anodized.
  18. 10 years on! I think it was worth the wait!!
  19. Ooohhhffff. That’s a beaut.
  20. Cool - thanks. Any idea on the weight, too?
  21. I like that - nicely proportioned. Get some strings on it and the chrome hardware will look great.
  22. Caustic is a fantastic (and free on Windows!) sequencer - give it a shot before spending anything. I love it. ps my laptop only has 3gb ram, but is sufficient for my needs.
  23. I have a Perspex strat that had already been altered to take a different tremolo before it was given to me. At the time I was young and did not appreciate such things, so put a different scratch plate on, drilling new holes. There is no give in acrylic! All the new holes have halo-eff up surrounds! Never mind, it’s only a guitar. Now if that had been a bass...
  24. So glad I posted - such a lot of options I didn’t know I had!
