Agreed. Mind you you, i started as a drummer and that was pretty tricky. Using all four limbs in differing patterns instead of two was an achievement. But i stuck at it and ended up gigging in several bands. Wish i'd started on bass though

That neck i posted is a peavey, so yes, they deffo use it in some basses

I havent come across that as i avoid the fever of vintage J's and P's. What i have come across is allen key truss sockets that seem to defy all size allen keys, or allen sockets that get rounded off inside by the allen key tool Also, depending on the bass and how well the allen key fits, you have to slacken off the strings first so as to be able to manipulate the allen key in either direction.

That was a steal. I've never seen a Greco selling that cheap over here, well not in recent years, but there's always exceptions
