  1. Quite right. I've found many YT vids/tunes to be out by a quarter tone, which is a pain, as it it's bass re-tune. If it was a semi-tone out you could simply play one fret down ( or up, depending ). I dont know whether thats a side effect of YT itself, the person who uploaded, or the original recording
  2. Peavey Palladeum ? I know some players in the past have been after these since the days you had one in your armoury
  3. Good morning if you're on the east coast , and if you're on the west coast, you'll still be asleep Welcome
  4. £99 squid for some matchwood ? Someone wake that dreamer up
  5. Lynching ? So we've moved on to murder now ? How do you know i'm not female ? You're making assumptions. Typical male
  6. I'm going to build a pedal and name it the Kock Shredder and see how many men complain
  7. The attention to detail is fabulous. They're going to be so good looking when they're Looking forward to the next stage. No more holidays for you get on with 'em
  8. Nice lump of wood considering it was roofing timber. Doing well ... Keep going
  9. Scott Devine bought an £80 Ammoon P bass from amazon, tweaked it some ( truss rod and string height ) and loved it. Dont know about the board though
  10. Sounds like you need to take it back to the shop. Your contract is with them
  11. Try Warman ( UK ) Prices are amazing - i have one of their MM humbuckers and it's a peach http://www.warmanguitars.co.uk/product-category/pickups/bass-guitar-pickups/
  12. The speakers are top quality - just ask Phil. They're just short of £60 per driver new Some BC 'ers have used Beymas in some builds on BC and handle low tunings without a sweat Frequency range 45-6500 Hz You would indeed be heard, unless you have 2 drummers and 5 mental guitarists
  13. Yeah they're bulky, but that becomes handy when you get your bass cables , a zoom B3, zoom PS, spare cables, Boss Vocalist, Boss PS, all stashed in the one case. They're the most handy bass case going
  14. These are sensational. I bought one 3 days ago, to go with my identical original TP that i've owned for for over 15 years. This is the first time i've seen this case back up for sale in quite a few years. Must be NOS They were extremely expensive for a non solid case. £60 - £70 or more when TP were selling them. But they're the toughest non solid case i've seen. You can stand on 'em https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tribal-Planet-Hard-Gigbag-Case-GX40-New-Length-110cm/183223862096?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
  15. Agreed. Mind you you, i started as a drummer and that was pretty tricky. Using all four limbs in differing patterns instead of two was an achievement. But i stuck at it and ended up gigging in several bands. Wish i'd started on bass though
  16. It's tragic What with the purchase price and then Dave Smart doing a service and fitting new switches for the graphic and preshape + pat test, i'm down £110 I need counselling
  17. As said by others, dont assume offence on others behalf
  18. It's also possible to post without insulting others. I didnt see Westwood doing any such thing, just you
