1. ^+1.Theres one on my little piccy thing.
2.
what kind of narcisstic, egotistical, megalomaniac would have a sparkly gold bass built for themselves
Ive got one.
3. They dont care for that other one either,Bill Wyman.
4. So,even a custom shop bass now is cheaper than a standard bass from back then ?
5. what was the price of a new,say 1962 Precision, and how would that price sit in todays Fender line up ? I dont think that many Fender basses, apart from the really early ones, are particularly rare, but to find an unmolested one in good cosmetic condition is probably a lot more difficult. AC,could have been replaced at any time in his career, but hasnt.Im no fan of U2 for the fact that they just dont do it for me,but from what ive heard of them,i cant see anything wrong with his playing.
6. The thing is though,Jaco modded a Jazz and look how many imitations of that are arround now. It's only a couple of bits of mass produced wood and wire. The mudbucker in a Jazz was quite a popular mod at the time, and it's only the fact that Doc's 62 Jazz is'nt owned by some over rated "legend" that it's de-valued.
7. What kind of tw4t would play a gold sparkle precision ? Heres mine...........again. IMO it needs gold hardware too.

9. Looks like a Precision with gibson thunderbird pickups and left handed neck to me.
10. Its just what jazz basses do.Nothing wrong.
11. I had one years ago,it was actually very good,i also saw an identical one in Bass Doc's shop a few years later that had broke in half and it looked like MDF,or something with no grain pattern.
12. The defret, wether pro or not will de-value the bass, but to what extent is really upto the buyer,i would think.
13. Thanks Ou7shined,that could be the one,and it makes it easier to visualise a Jazz in that scheme too.
14. Good job,i've done this myself using,by the look of it,the same type of "dog bone".It is a bit of a smelly job,but satisfying to do.
15. The value is probably about £300,give or take.Has it allways been fretless ? I dont recall ever seeing a Lyte fretless, which doesnt mean that im suggesting that they dont exist.
16. Still cant find decent pics of Precisions or Jazzes in black with matching headstocks.
17. "can you turn it down",us "ok,no problem" (pretend to turn P.A down) Us "is that ok ?"."Yes thats much better, thanks".
18. I also have an Italia Modulo tipo 3,but much changed from original since one of the lipstick pickups, which in my opinion, were awful anyway, decided to die.
19. If it wasnt for slap, where would the bass hate be aimed ? i dont search youtube very often, but does universalrenote own the bass wing of youtube ? does paapakobe have to review every cr4p bass to his girlfriend ?
20. You dont need to leave to harden after wet sanding.Depending on how much you T-Cut will determine the ammount of shine you end up with.1200 grit and above should be good.
