  8. I would have thought that stickers would peel off/look tatty after time.
  9. Fit all hardware before finishing.That way you know that everything will fit,and there will be less chance of screwing up the finish with the slip of a screwdriver or something on assembly.

IMO nitro feels better than poly,looks better and wears better.The fingerboard is rolled which feels better.The bodies are a bit thinner as are the Affinity Squiers that ive seen,which makes them a bit lighter and a bit more comfortable.Recipe for success in my book,but i agree that the price is too high.

  13. I had a similar problem years ago,the E-A half of the pickup had called it a day,making the E string weak,but the D-G half was still working ok and was still making the A string loud enough. You could swap the 2 halves of the pickup around to see if the volume loss transfers to the G.

  16. Basswood is used for the necks on Parker Fly guitars.
  17. If you like it,keep it,if you get rid,you will regret it no matter how much you like the replacement.there are no vintage Fender Jazz Basses for £500.
