it sounded very, very clear and articulate.
It sounds as you want, you can even distord the tone like an SVT/mesa400+ if you like ... And yes, You can also use it as a high end full tube hifi tone. This tube amp is the best in this range IMHO ... don't speak to me about SVT or other tube amps... they are not so versatile. (As far as I Know, it seems there were about 120 SA200 produced before they stopped the production.)
I need to wait to post mine but I posted it before in lightweigh thread ... (I just have a problem with my FTP now which is on maintenance) I also have a Puma 500 with XS112 (8ohms) for training with my band and S212 (4ohms) for gigs and it's OK ... when I need another sound I also use a sadowsky SA200 amp paired with the S212 cab.... but I mainly use the Puma cause it's in bag, I have it on shoulder to go with my bass on the back and the XS112 on the other hand. A complete set handled easily to go everywhere !
So here mine :

Very smooth trade with Ville. Trade of unique and expensive basses between France and Finland, you have to trust in the guy in front of you and Nobody'perfect is a one of this kind. I would deal with him again.

Like a nonsense for a french man like me. But here, have a big Bump to this bass, or at least CrazyKiwi could make another thread cause this one is not good for a Celinder !
C'mon! I hardly think comparing CK to Peter Sutcliffe is unreasonable! Personally, I've been compared to a young Fred West.
For my personal info, I don't undestand what is the subject about... I don't know those guys , who are they ? (I'm fench , sorry ...)

Those ABI are interesting me more and more ... I don't know what could be the feeling with fanned frets, but I would like to test them ...

[SOLD outside basschat] JPbasses Zia 5 walnut
flychris replied to flychris's topic in Basses For Sale
Thanks a lot molan for the feeback ! The stripey background is my bed ... and yes the darker wood on the Zia makes darker pictures. I didn't modify them in photoshop to make them clearer and I think we can see how this higly figured walnut is like that. a kind of mix between flammed in two directions and other figures ... -

You know french luthier will sell more (and at a higher price in france than in UK) and in the opposite, for exemple GB or shuker will not be at the same value (means lower) in France than in UK ... (for exemple I saw a GB in france going for less than 500£ ) I only tested the Arobasse graphite (not the stainless steel one) and cannot compare the optomik to the lightwave, cause never tested the lightwave. Sorry to not help too much on that comparison.

Kopo is a very well known french Luthier... those are great instrument, and espacially fretless ones. I just tested the AROBASSE (complete graphite bass, midi, optomik lighting pickups etc....) and sound awesome !!! So I find 750£ for the Lina is very honnest ... IMHO ... [EDIT : used Kopo are more from 1000 £ to 1300 £ in france ...]

I just traded my BTB 5 custom shop cause I'm going back on 4 strings... but if there was exactly the same in 4, I just swap for it... doesn't matter the name for me, Just play and enjoy ! (And I have few high end basses at home, and the ibanez wasn't ridiculous ....)

Yes, we could see we enter in the psychologic and emotional aspects ... If you find something beautiful, doesn't matter the price and if you can afford it, you will buy it... we could generalise that to any instruments, and to all things ...
