1. Great amp. Great great great amp! Can't believe this hasn't sold. Had the pleasure of playing (borrowing) this a lot last year and I'm gutted I won't be using it this year as I really want to get my hands on a decent combo. Note: it's the 16ohm channel that doesn't work, or at least we couldn't get it to run through a 16ohm cab. Other channels (4 and 8 ohm) work fine and sound amazing.
2. This thing is still for sale ppl. Waiting for an offer.
3. Hey all. Listen I've had a fair few ppl Pm me with regards to the T-max. Would just like to say that I am giving it until the end of the day for some1 to offer to collect. After then I will consider shipping. I live in Bristol, a stones throw away from the motorway interchange so I'm not hard to get to. Thankyou guys.
4. Hey all, I'm selling my back up Peavey T-max amp. Its slightly damaged with a ding on the front and a missing knob :-( But It's works great and is still worth having for back up or even for the spare parts. When my origional one died i couldnt find spares or a replacement for months! I used it on stage and in practice a few times and it worked a treat. I dont play bass anymore so having a back-up or spare parts is useless for me. The peavey T-max was, is and will always be a great amplifier and you'll be pushed to find better value for money. If anyone is interested drop me a PM or post a reply and i'll pop a pic up. I'm looking for £120 ono Thankyou.
5. Lol, LAME. C'mon some1 must wanna buy this its a bargain.
6. Hey basschat ppl. Selling a 15" black widow Peavey cab if anyone is interested? £90 I live in bristol and can arrange some1 to be home for collection. All in good condition just a bit dusty is all. PM if youre interested.
7. Hey basschat people, Im selling my Peavey T-Max amp for £220. These amps are fantastic and it breaks my heart to sell it. But times are tough i guess, plus im raising money for a new guitar and cab. The peavey t-max comes highly reccomended by bass players all over the world, just google the name and you will instantly recognise the amount of praise they recieve for their, affordability, reliability, power and overall sound. 350 watts @ 4 ohms, 500 watts @ 2 ohms EQ Low & High shelving, 7 band graphic, 30hz lowest XLR out Other Effects loop, DDT compression, crossover, footswitchable (graph, channel, effects), Two channels Tube and Solid State preamp. Its in perfect condition just a lil pen mark on it (previous owner) Sounds great, looks great and WONT let you down. Any questions just PM me. Cheers guys.
8. I played a fretless bass last night for the first time ever and WTF? They're awesome! I can only imagine that it was the same feeling that Madonna had when she wrote like a virgin lol! It was like re-discovering bass all over again without them annoyin lil bumpy metal b*st*rds in the way. And it makes me wonder why they even bother putting them on basses at all?

Ibanez

I've only recently started playing bass again and am now part of a 5 piece with gigs comming up. I bought a cheapy lil Ibanez gio several months ago and I am very pleased with it seeing as it only cost me £160. Ive come across another Ibanez I like: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/country/frame_uk.html I just thought what you guys thought of Ibanez basses in general seeing as my experiance of bass guitars in general is very minimal. I'm looking for something in the range of £600 thats good enough to gig with. I could stick with the gio seein as it plays just fine but really want something a lil more flash. Any nuggets of wisdom would be much appreciated!
