1.
I went into Tesco's one time and they'd mis-priced their sandwiches at a pound less than they should have been. So I bought sixteen of them and sold them on at the right price, thus furnishing myself with the funds to buy a chromatic tuner. You know the rest.
2. The Gotoh 203 is a nice standard looking bridge with slots for the saddles so there's no movement side to side
3. Cheap and cheerful, £100 probably about right
4. I'll take one or both off your hands if you come to sell them?
5. I had to do this with the cab I left at our rehearsal space a while back and we had trouble with other bands "borrowing" stuff.
6. I picked up an official 3/16" Fender T bar tool from the states for something like $10 posted, bit of case candy
7. I asked him, there was a mix up reading the serial number: it's in the 110000s (1966/67) but was originally incorrectly read as in the L10000s (1963)
8. £690? The crazy German strikes again.
9.
This I like, have been in several bands with no chat and it always works well pacing-wise. Lately we've been adapting one or two intros so that the singer can make comments, but without stopping the flow of the set.
It would often be due to the fact we had been previously banned by the venue and were playing under a different name
10. We often used to play our entire set without stopping, no breaks and no chat

I always use multi core, I found the single core stuff snaps too easily if you move stuff around too much
13. Signed and shared a few days ago, good to see the support for the venue.
14.
is it true bypass matey?
PMd
15. Good basses, though a little on the heavy side. I stuck a Bartolini in the bridge position on mine and it sounded well good
16. I bet he could find some stock pretty quickly if anyone pressed the BIN on them
17. Clone of a ZVex Super Hard On boost pedal Sturdy, compact ABS box with vinyl decal Loads of clean boost available which breaks up nicely into overdrive at the top of the knob Runs on 9V power supply only due to internal space constraints Now sold
This raises an interesting question for me: Enclosure-wise, I've only ever used diecast metal boxes for anything wth a footswitch, but do many of you guys use ABS boxes at all? If they work well and are suitable for stomps I would be interested in giving them a whirl but I thought I'd canvass opinion first
I use metal enclosures for everything, I just had the ABS box lying around so decided to put something in it
19.
It's probably why the Romans built the roads straight if you've ever tried steering a Transit around a corner flat out?
Sabina says otherwise
20.
Apologies, no reading glasses on and completely missed the 6 point font size disclaimer! ....911 - I presume you mean apart from the move to water cooled engines, 4 wheel drive, automatic gearboxes, weird glass roof thingy and all the cosmetics? I'm a massive 911 fan btw, especially the early ones that tried to kill you every so often - or maybe I'm just a rubbish driver...
Not just you, they will try to kill you given the opportunity
21. Despite the disclaimer, how about the P-bass is a 911 because the design has remained basically the same over it's entire lifetime...
