1. Just bought a crackin bass from Bellypopper : exactly as described, arrived quickly and packed very thoroughly indeed. Plenty of good communication all the way. A great guy to deal with. Many thanks !
2. Don't do it ! I've had the pleasure of playing this bass, and it was very classy indeed. Slick, punchy, responsive and a spectacular looker. Bass maiden is a top person too, a pleasure to deal with. Deal with confidence.
3.
FS Fender Precision Deluxe 1983 it was originally precision standard and upgraded to deluxe i can trade it for Spector Euro 5 1100 Euros shipped worldwide
Glad you modified the original post to give everyone this clarity. Have all pickups been replaced or have you just added the two jazz pickups in the bridge position? Is it active ? If so, what sort of preamp have you put in ? Looks a nice bass. Good luck with your sale
4. Gosh never seen one like this before. Did they do the deluxe in 1983 ? ( I thought the top end was Elites and RI's at that time.) Whats the serial ?
5.
we are not allowed to comment on price are we?
Absolutely not ! . ...but I was thinking the same. Mark welcome to the forum mate. It would be worth you checking out what PreEBs have previously sold for here on the site. All the best with the sale.

15. I bought a combo, footswitch, tweeter and all the leads were kindly included. Communication was excellent - one phone conversation and it was all sorted. All the items were in superb condition and exactly as described. They were packed with care in a rugged box, and arrived safely in very quick time. This transaction couldn't have been better. A real pleasure, many thanks.
16. You are a gentleman sir. Huge thanks. Ill be in touch when they arrive .....from Hong Kong !
17. Thanks icastle for the response. Youre right I think, the wiring seems undisturbed and the other components are very clean - the bass has hardly been out of the house since new Im told. The IC is a JRC 4558D which is thankfully still available cheaply on ebay (£1.20 each). Its the same chip as in a Tubescreamer I understand and no doubt in other Ibanez basses. I've ordered a few - should arrive in a week or so. Now if I can find a man who can solder ICs safely ..... Many thanks again for your help

19. A Soundgear SR800 from 1987. Wiring has not been tampered with and Im trying to diagnose a non working tone circuit. The bass control pot has stopped working, and the treble pot acts as another volume control. Anybody know anyone near Nottingham who could diagnose the problem ? ALSO on these instruments, each pot has a small PCB attached with a couple of capacitors and resistors. Anyone know why ? Is it because the pickups are low impedance ? or is it to adjust the tone ? FINALLY - Id love to teach myself, anyone know a good book on guitar circuits ? Any help would be much appreciated
