1.
Send in a hardcase. I'd hate to see that get damaged. Regardless, surprised it hasn't flown off the shelf, that's a very attractive bass and price.
Youre absolutely right. Hard case (a basic one) now offered in the price ! Ive had lots of enquiries, but no firm offer yet. Its a bargain Chrimble pressie for someone.
2.
PM'ed...
Thanks David for the PM. For the benefit of others, David asked if it came with a case. Its a soft case but the he bass has been kept in a hard case all the time I have had it, and from its condition, probably throughout its life. Obviously if its shipped I'll pack it to death to avoid any damage in transit. Best wishes Colin
3.
Do you ship to foreign countries to? A trade for a 75RI vwh Jazz?
Dear Farrokh Sorry, Im not considering trades at present. I'd prefer a cash offer from the UK, but Ill consider shipping to other countries if I dont get one. Thanks Colin
4.
thats one fine looking bass
Thank you ! Lets hope it becomes someones early christmas ( damn I said it !) present.
5. Aye. It's a shame to tempt us with something gorgeous and then whisk it away. As ephemeral as a pint in Kuwait I fear.

9. Eden to LMK ?...........only because I use two basses and want the two channels ..... No PM received as yet
10. Weekly bump and Im now happy to look at trades +/- cash . In particular Im searching for an LMK (the two channel LM), and considering some aguilar 12" cabs, or perhaps a ricky or 5 string that looks interesting.
11. Weekly bump. Im going to advertise it locally next week, so if anyone is interested in making an offer before I open it up to the East Midlands bass-playing community, please let me know.
12. Thanks ! Lets hope it goes to a BC'er.
13. Gosh its gone
14. THE mesa 400+ is TRULY a magnificent head, and if this is a good one, worth every penny IMO. This is the sort of amp you need when you are older and can afford it, bit like buying a Truimph Bonneville. Wish I'd never sold mine (the mesa that is ), but sadly the weight of that output transformer exceeded the tolerance of my back too. The valves in mine lasted forever.

16. I had one of these, 2 tone sb and white scratch. It sold end of last year, for about £450 including shop commission. Given the playability and build quality Ive always thought these early Jap vintage P-basses are excellent value s/h. Oh and mine had Squire on the headstock, so I guess the Fender headstock will increase the value a bit. An amateur view but I hope this helps move us on.
17.
Blimey, it went for £1950 ? Have pre EB's gone up in the last month.........No, just, two bidders with extreme GAS ! Glad you got such a superb result
