Guild also issued a Pilot bass under their Dearmond brand. I wonder if the damage to the pickup covers indicated that they’re too close to the strings?

That definitely looks like a NS fake from Etsy. It might be worth looking on Aliexpress if you’re prepared to have a knock-off. As @JPJ says the cheaper ones don’t sound so good. The NS is great and would easily change to left handed.

I picked up a Squier PJ in CAR with a Jazz neck from a charity shop selling on eBay for about £100. Needed a good clean up but was very playable. I have sold it on but they are about. -
It is a 6 string bass, presumably made to compete with the FenderVI. Never heard of one before and if as it says one of only 17 it is as rare as hens teeth. There are collectors who like oddities and have deep pockets.

Some Aria SB1000s have a problem with the electrics which were encased in wax. Probably best to check one carefully before buying.
