  1. Like @How1i changed to a Badass on a vintage 1976 Precision (sadly long gone), it was a doddle as everything just lined up. It only needed a set up. A screwdriver job.
  2. Snoopy vs the Red Baron - The Royal Guardsmen
  3. The really high end stuff and exotics don’t really appeal to me much. However I would really like to try out a Gibson Thunderbird, probably have to be a vintage one and any Rickenbacker but preferably a 4005. I don’t think I want either but a serious go on them would satisfy me, at the moment. Ask me again next week and my answer will probably be different.
  4. Nice. I’ve only ever had one brand new as well.
  5. Saw these guys in Seattle a few years ago. That Ali bass really pumped out a great thump.
  6. Lovely, reminds me of my 76 in the same finish. Shouldn’t have traded it.
  7. I was going to ask the same, we’re you stung for taxes?
  8. There’s a long tradition of political comment in lyrics. W.S. Gilbert was a dab hand at it in his operas.
  9. Wouldn’t gin work as well, but may be more expensive than buying a new set.
  10. We had a similar offer for a dining table. My wife checked the persons profile and almost immediately they took it down. Never turned up for the table.

  12. RokSak make one but you’d need to check measurements. They’re very reasonably priced.
  13. I know they’re good basses but it gets my vote for the ugliest headstock logo, surely they could have come up with something a little more tasteful.
  14. It looks like a Legend and if so on the reverse of the headstock it will say something like made in Korea under licence fro Stuart Spector Designs Ltd.
  15. I think they are flats but I think he has the tone set to a quite high treble and it does not sound like a dull thump to me .
  16. wHole lotta shaking’ going on - Jerry Lee Lewiy
  17. May the circle be unbroken- The Carter Family
  18. I remember reading that Bob Dylan used to write down lines he thought would make good openings to songs, but didn’t use them. So he put them altogether into one song, but I can’t remember which one! 🥴 a lot of his post protest songs are pretty nonsensical.
  19. The true sound of the British Invasion! That looks like a beautiful fading to the burst. I too have owned an EB2 but would have preferred the Rivoli.
  20. This sequence proves that there are no foolish questions, but a lot of foolish answers. Have you guys been watching Ocean loner designs on YouTube which features far too many Titanic facts, most of which are entirely uninteresting.
