  1. I’ve noticed some strange noises from the tone pump if my mobile phone is in my trouser pocket immediately next to to it.
  2. Just because - Anita Baker
  3. Edam busters March - RAF band
  4. I’ve always sung backing and some lead. I think the secret is not try and play too complicated a bass line. Sting was a good example. With time it becomes more natural and your bass lines will become more technical.
  5. Mama we’re all crazee now - Slade
  6. 6lb are you kidding? What’s it made of? Balsa?
  7. I had a Squier P/J Precision with a Jazz neck bought from a charity shop so no idea of the model. Played okay but sold it on.

  9. Inside looking out - The Animals
  10. Happened to me on the Fender Jazz 5 string I had and it was fitted with Shaller strap locks! The strap lock nut came unscrewed, bass hit the ground take a chunk of paint off and also knocked the lap top flying I was reading from (it wasn’t my regular band).
  11. Were not some of the ‘80’s Squier Ps 32”scale?
  12. Crawling king snake - John Lee Hooker
  13. Drums every time. For a while I was playing bluegrass, what a pleasure no drummers at all.
  14. Now the built in stand is a definite must of a mod 😁
  15. Rat trap - Boon Town Rats
  16. Nice grain in the body. Sadly not in the market at present.
  17. Didn’t the original Guild ones have a built in stand that folded out of the back?
  18. Wild thing - The Troggs ( & Hendrix)
  19. The wind cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
  20. I’ve owned 3 over the years. Ibanez Roadstar; Fender Precision; Spector Spectorcore 5. Now I only have a NS NXT electric upright as my fretless. I do keep thinking it would be nice to have another fretless to use when the upright feels a bit too big. But to achieve that one of the 4 fretted would need to go, perhaps I should change a neck 🤔
  21. Cats in the cradle - Harry Chapin
