  1. Great price for a lovely light bass. Really can't go wrong with that!
  2. Me too. Wish I had use for it, just own a couple too many basses and could do with freeing up some dosh.
  3. Bought a set of strap locks from @cd_david Sale went smoothly, wouldn't hesitate to do business again.
  4. In good working order, Still has protective film on the wheels, protective cover included.
  5. Lightly used and in good working condition.
  6. Hello everyone! Need to raise funds for other gear. Bought new from Fairdeal music in Brum in July last year. Shell pink, mint scratchplate, and comes with a really nice Ashdown gig bag. Weighs 3.8kg. Near perfect condition. Willing to discuss postage or delivery otherwise it's collection from Erdington, North Birmingham.
  7. Me too, saw him in Wolverhampton last night. Agree with your description. Pleased to see place was packed. He's an incredible talent. Didn't have a clue what he was on about in the chat between songs though 😂
  8. Cracking band. Colibri must be one of the most exhilarating bass lines ever
  9. You do get through some lovely axes sir! Mmmmmm....😋
  10. Such great looking basses, great price too. GLWTS
  11. My Jabba 5 is just superb, excellent quality instruments that don't have the profile they deserve.
  12. You guys have done an amazing rendition of Tom Sawyer, absolutely bang on!
  13. One of my favourite records and a terrific bassist. Trevor recommended the band sack their original bass player Mark Lickley and Brad replaced him. According to Trevor Horn's book Brad was the son of Don Lang who was the trombonist in the Bob Miller band and had sung the original theme for the Six-Five Special TV series. There is a really challenging bass lick in 'Show Me' at the end of the string intro at 0.38s where the drums come in. Awesome dextrous bass guitar playing which took me ages to figure out!
  14. Thanks for posting, huge Pino fan here but I have to say this is unfortunately yet another podcast hosted by a person who thinks it's all about themselves. I'd estimate the majority of this interview consists of the interviewer sharing his own thoughts and poor old Pino, one of the most experienced, influential and respected bass players in the world, is barely able to get a word in at times. Would be great if this could be edited down to a shorter interview which actually focussed on what the great man (Pino, not the other guys) has to say.
  15. Oh Jesus, GAS attack coming 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
  16. Damn, I just love this 😍
  17. That looks like a really fun instrument to have round the house. GLWTS
  18. Dang that is a superb example 😋
  19. An excellent weight for a Jazz. Tasty 😋 GLWTS
  20. I bought a Mayones from Lukasz back in August and finally got round to posting some feedback today. Sale was very quick and straightforward and bass was packed well before posting. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Lukasz again.
  21. I would say a more substantial amp, 200W or more so he is able to do gigs if that is what he wants to do. Alternatively a basic but decent multi effects pedal.
  22. An excellent price GLWTS
