Having troubles with Outlook, I went to Gmail, what a bad idea : there's an automatic feature by default that erase your trash, fine, but don't push erase when there's nothing in the trash, it will delete the reception page showed. Not so funny ! I think I'll go back to Thunderbird in the end, which is what I use on my Linux based PC without a single problem. That said for my Android and Windows machines I switched backnto the new version of Outlook, sometimes a bit slow, but not stupidly automatic designed by default.

Eh, the 36 inches scale basses, loved them a lot, but not my capsulitis, had to sell them to get back to 34 inches scale in 4, 5 and 6 stings. Strangely the 41 inches scale of my 6 strings EUB doesn't bother my shoulders at all, must be the playing position... Hope you'll find what you are looking for, but my trick will work as it's as simple as physics laws.

Bought "3 x sets of cheap DR Lo-Rider Stainless Steel 6 String Bass strings 30-125 brand new and unused" from Jon. Got them lightning fast even if I'm in Belgium and the communication was excellent. I own a Stanford B61-5CM fretless (the "low cost" version of the Furch Durango B61-5CM). Just like you with 5 strings, I prefer a high C string to a low B one. So, even if the Stanford has a decent, not powerful but, good and defined B string sound I had the idea to put some Thomastik AB344 with a high C as I did this before on a fixed bridge full body bass (a Stradi Symphony Bass 5 fretless which had Thomastik JF345 originally, so a high tension B string set that I converted to a high C with a Thomastik JR light tension set which is the roundwound version of the JF flatwounds). The intonation is perfect because of the lighter string gauge compared to the original strings, but the truss rod must be working fine as there will be less tension... It's working fine and I'm very happy with the sound being acoustically or amplified. Hi Russ, If it's a real De Oliveira bass, these are good to very good basses with new price tags going up to 1500 GBP/Euros which is really high for Brazil. They have plenty of luthiers over there making Fodera copies for the most of them. He is one of the rare making some "different" models including Fodera clones, some with his own pickups and preamp... It's an improvement as you can only bump every 36 hours, but in the meantime you still can bump the old way evey second if you want to by simply replying to your own thread. Some choices must done, real 36 hours bump blocking the possibility to bump at the fly or going back to the old days.

Wasn't it recorded at the "Melusina" in Luxembourg with Moondog Junior opening ?
