  1. When I had my repair shop, I used this : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Facom-418-MT-Pliers-Microtech-Micro-Tech/dp/B00B1C6CR6
  2. @Grangur : I always put tape over the bar-code and just like you said at least one more printed label on the parcel and one inside. Plus, most of the time I put tape all over the parcel, in case they leave it in a puddle of water or outside when heavy raining. Having worked as a logistics clerk for the Belgian railway parcels facility, I can tell you that people working at the depot absolutely don't give a sh*t about your parcels, especially when labelled "Fragile". They always throw them, play football with them and if they land in the wrong rack, your parcel will stay there. It's a real pity working with such persons. And they have no excuses for this behaviour, they are just stupid. Sorry to be harsh, but that's the plain truth. So knowing that, I take the greatest care when making parcels, even taking pictures during the process and ALWAYS take the extra insurance, because I know it will absolutely not be handled with care.
  3. Sold some pickups and preamp to Johann. Everything was fast, smooth and easy. Would do business again with him. Cheers mate.
  4. Le Foyer that the post of Luxembourg is using is a third party insurance company, so problems (when there are some) are solved very quickly.
  5. Indeed, but Parcel Force CEO refused to pay more than the "legal" £100, so as the seller, I managed to get a full refund by my courier and its insurance company.
  6. It also happened with the same company for a stolen in the van two parts rare hi-fi amplifier. So it's not a rare occurence : Le Foyer is a real good insurance company caring for their customers, that's as simple as that. And I only had this two issues in a bit more than 30 years of buying and selling lots and loads of items (more than 2000 items over the years).
  7. Typical earthing issue, and as @discreet mentioned it, it CAN kill. Pub and venue owners don't give a sh*t about their electrical installation, so checking the earth before even plugging in is a good idea.
  8. Totally agree with you, except about insurance, but I guess it depends on where you are located. As I already wrote, I always take the extra insurance and when I need to insurance up to 4300 Euros, I use the post of Luxembourg and never had any issue when it comes to make it work : ask @binky_bass as he got a full refund when my very rare Aries arrived to him in pieces (in my bomb proof package, but not plane height proof sadly), even if ParfelForce who was the culprit was in a total deny process. Read the thread about it or my feedback. So insurances do work, but you have to choose the right one, and that's the biggest part of the problem. So now back to @Dood : do you have any news ?
  9. A little hand pushing is needed as there is no spring. It must move.
  10. Your bridge is a Gotoh 206, aka Pro. To adjust the intonation or your string height, slightly loosen the screw #9, then screw or unscrew the screw #7 just as explained in the video above and finally when everything is fine tighten back the screw #9, but don't force as you'll break the saddle (it's a known issue with bridge).
  11. And what about the upper left of the headstock ?
  12. When I'm shipping things, whatever they are, I don't play the lottery nor Russian roulette, I take the extra real insurance because guns don't kill people, people kill people.
  13. Do I have to stop as I already have six six strings basses permanently at home, the seventh being a seven strings bass, and so on... ?
  14. He is simply making money through YouTube as he already has 1 million subscribers !!!
