1.
Hi do you still have this plz?
yup
2. this is what i have been happily using for nearly 10 years. i've used it with guitars and basses- 5s and 6s and never had a problem. there is something inside the transmitter that you can tweak to suit the instrument that you are using.
3. i have a kindle keyboard 3G can't comment on the Fire but would be interested to know.
4. on the kindle now, can log in and basschat seems to be hale and hearty. many thanks to anyone from BC who helped with this!
5. according to Billy Sheehan, when you are stood up the bass should be in the same position on your body as when you are sat down practising. That way all your angles are the same and you are not changing position.
6. You can't really hear Newsted on And Justice For All, as he is pretty much doubling the guitar lines. I think there's a difference between not hearing the bassist when they are playing (and lost in the mix), and not hearing the bassist when they are not playing. You would probably know something was missing.
7. first bass I owned was a Blazer. Nice and light, plenty of bottom end, lovely neck. Should have keep it really, but in my naive youth a Fender P was where it was at, so it was p/x'd.
8. where ya bin?
9. Mick bought a guitar multi fx off me. Pleasure to deal with, can heartily recommend. Top banana!
10. If a band has a bass player, then obviously they can get in another bass player. But the OP is asking which artists would never be the same. So for example you can relace The Ox, and with a very competent player, but are The Who the same?
11. thanks all. I've put a post in the items wanted too to see what's out there in BC land.
12. ta, I'll have a look when I get a minute.
13.
That's a relief ,)
the display only has 2 digits (bank and channel) so I still need a map so I know which song starts where
14.
pm'd
replied. Sold pending the usual.
15.
have u a price on the combo on its own?
pm'd
16. it's set up so that each rhythm and lead sound I need are next to each other, either up and down or left to right.
17. By choice. Starting off on classical guitar, then electric, but after seeing Nikki Sixx running around throwing shapes and posing that was it.
18. bump
19. I'm gonna mod my Melody Maker Flying V by adding an adjustable bridge and a neck pup. The current bridge pup is a Seymour Duncan HB-103 ceramic humbucker, so the question is what should I pair it with? The obvious answer may be a Seymour Duncan HB-103n which is the neck pup, but this is a cheaper 'Duncan Designed'. I'm assuming the original pup is an original Seymour Duncan, as the Gibson page with the Flying V blurb states it's a 'Seymour Duncan HB-103 ceramic humbucker', no mention of Duncan Designed and there is no lettering on it like what the Design ones have. Could be wrong though. I'm doing it because I love the V, and hate having to swap guitars during gigs. The sounds it's currently lacking are bluesy and Santana lead type sounds. Any thoughts? ta.
20. don't use the Mick Ronson sound anymore, use the rhythm distortion sound instead. So that's 12.
21. Where's Wally? one for the Magnum fans only
22. OP i don't know if this is the kind of thing you mean, but if you have an iPad http://www.digitech.com/en-US/products/ipb-10-programmable-pedalboard
