  1. A Party Seven whilst simultaneously forgetting a can opener.
  2. The train still runs but, alas, I think the bowling alley was finished off by a fire in 1995...
  3. You beat me to it but anyway, get in son.
  4. Obviously in all possible pier related ways I win, what with being a Southendian...
  5. I had to pullover just to say weave it out son, you’re a looming nuisance.
  6. I feel better about not coming to look at it now! I'm glad you decided to keep it.
  7. I think your initial comment made me realise I agree totally with your subsequent comment.
  8. Dose this mean you no longer wish to sell?
  9. Hmmm, hadn’t thought of it like that, it’s a far more complicated design than the mouse, in fact your comment really has made me think about the Mouse. I don’t think of it firstly as a beautiful thing because that is far outweighed by the fact that when I pick it up I always marvel at how light it is and then how comfortable it is to play, next I think how easy it is to write on and how new basslines seem to fall out of it. Then, when I’ve emerged from Mouseworld, I invariably look at it just before it goes in the rack and even then it’s not particularly the aesthetics or the build, it’s a kind of awe at how easily new music seems to come out of it each time I pick it up. This is what I want to feel about a fretted bass too. Hmmmm food for thought.
  10. It’s by far the highest quality bass I’ve ever owned, I’m just not sure the ergonomics are right for me.
  11. Thought I’d put the ACG through its paces yesterday at rehearsal. What a variety of sounds! A tonal palette the size of a reasonably busy Belgian village. I will need a few more such rehearsals before I know it is definitely for me or it needs to continue its journey through the Basschat ranks!
  12. Latecomer to this thread but having played this bass on Tuesday I can’t get it out of my mind and now Ive read all about the build...
  13. If anything it’s a shade too low for me.
  14. @alinbassplayer you are welcome to try my Stomp out before you buy. No one ever takes me up on these offers but there has to be a first time!
