1. thats quite cool - would two work correctly together in a jazz bass ?
2. I just used standard 40s - I had the trim a little bit of casing off the low e to fit the tuning peg but it only took a few minutes. Man at strings direct was very helpful indeed so it really isn't an issue
3. "very pretty, wish I had the spare cash" bump
4. Thanks Paul those pictures are much better than mine It's a lovely instrument but conversion to low b didn't go as well as I wanted, so sadly have to pass it on I really wanted a low b rather than high C Didn't take long to get used to fanned frets

very pretty, I would absolutely love this, but a) already have a jazz cant justify that much
6.
Sausage sandwich bump. Forty quid's worth of strings and twenty quid's worth of gigbag here!!
Would you still be interested in a trade ? If not have a free bump anyway
7. Don't think you need to spend &60 - I got a fine quality tort guard from (I think) strings and things for about £13 and it had pickup cover holes in it too
8. I'd always nominate John mc vie in the chain as the classic p bass sound
9.
I'm currently looking at getting the Deluxe V active jazz bass as I want an active 5 string jazz with full size jazz body, jazz string spacing and 4+1 tuners on a traditional style headstock. The Deluxe ticks all the boxes and the price tag doesn't scare the wife.
I have a jazz and I was surprised at the wide spacing on the deluxe - it was very much wider than I expected
10. I have exactly this bass but a '92 sunburst. I notice yours has screw holes for the tugbar but otherwise it's the same. Not found anyone yet who doesn't like it
11. I switch between a jazz, a stingray and a five string fanned fret shortie. It isnt a problem.
12.
Lovely looking girl like that - and you are all banging on about Bass Tabs.... Shame on the lot of you.
Absolutely. Focus, people, focus
13. Sympathy bump If you struggle with the cort you might alao struggle with mine, which does repay a light touch
14. Price ? Don't think you mentioned One ? Edit: ignore me, you only want a trade
15. Thanks - just wish someone else thought so enough to send money in exchange for it, or trade something of roughly equal value
16. Update on sound: the coil tap sounds like John mc vie on "the chain" to me, using both coils is a very fat precision sound that's quite immense in tone
17. I'd be quite interested if mine sells ?
18. [sup]Calverton, Nottinghamshire at a guess ? [/sup]
