1. See item 180837317312 on the bay Thanks
2. I can't see it, I'm reading on an iPhone.
3. Some people won't read that opt out and will be upset that they got billed again so a nag mechanism might prevent some (unjustified) complaints over it Btw I stopped taking the print sub as the free strings offer applied only to new subscribers not renewing ones and the price per issue was much worse. Someone at bgm called and made a vague "we'll sort something out" offer but never got back to me
4. Sorry - didn't know that - when I had a subscription it was nick wells ? Clarity is always good - I read the terms (I'm a law graduate) and I thought that I was pretty much guaranteed to forget to cancel three months on, with such a tight time window if I wanted to do so , so a nag screen or an email would assist me
5. I did look this up and note the subscription cancellation terms seem to need you to remember to cancel 24 hours after last sub ends or it automatically renews ? Unless you opt out of course. A couple of nag screens would be helpful perhaps ? Yes a sample would be good, I was a print subscriber once Are you in any way affiliated with them ?
6. thanks for the heads- up but I'm not sure about reading it on a tiny screen like an iphone
7.
only ever got one 5 string... this has treated me well over the 4 years iv had it ^_^ perfect for a first 5 string in my opinion . and lets face it... its not too bad looking also its not too expensive http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/peavey-millennium-bxp-5-string-bass-guitar-quilt-top
Wow pretty - never thought id like a peavey
8. Oh yes - duh.
9. thats quite cool - would two work correctly together in a jazz bass ?
10. I just used standard 40s - I had the trim a little bit of casing off the low e to fit the tuning peg but it only took a few minutes. Man at strings direct was very helpful indeed so it really isn't an issue
11. "very pretty, wish I had the spare cash" bump
12. Thanks Paul those pictures are much better than mine It's a lovely instrument but conversion to low b didn't go as well as I wanted, so sadly have to pass it on I really wanted a low b rather than high C Didn't take long to get used to fanned frets

very pretty, I would absolutely love this, but a) already have a jazz cant justify that much
14.
Sausage sandwich bump. Forty quid's worth of strings and twenty quid's worth of gigbag here!!
Would you still be interested in a trade ? If not have a free bump anyway
15. Don't think you need to spend &60 - I got a fine quality tort guard from (I think) strings and things for about £13 and it had pickup cover holes in it too
16. I'd always nominate John mc vie in the chain as the classic p bass sound
17.
I'm currently looking at getting the Deluxe V active jazz bass as I want an active 5 string jazz with full size jazz body, jazz string spacing and 4+1 tuners on a traditional style headstock. The Deluxe ticks all the boxes and the price tag doesn't scare the wife.
I have a jazz and I was surprised at the wide spacing on the deluxe - it was very much wider than I expected
18. I have exactly this bass but a '92 sunburst. I notice yours has screw holes for the tugbar but otherwise it's the same. Not found anyone yet who doesn't like it
