3. Condolences as well, would say for someone in a difficult place and not being in the bass world you're doing better at listing for sale and answering questions well than many posters here
 4. Always the precision, OM night audience love the battered look and the tone. Might give the Hohner a B2 a go next time just to shake it up.
 5.
Was lucky enough to see them last February at a private 70th birthday party as a surprise for a friend of my Dad's. Apparently the birthday boy's wife paid just short of £300k for 45 mins. Worth every penny though. Bloody brilliant
Astonished - how much ?

 7. Yes You are right, the books I checked do specially prohibit lending. I can't see how it could be enforced but why not describe it as a gift ? Recipient then gifts it back
 8.
Yeah, im not sure of its legallity either but no ones copying anything, all books are paid for so im not sure if copyright law prohibits the lending of original paid for property ? Not that i care much
You're not profiting - I don't see the issue If you were photo copying it or reading it aloud ..

 23.
The info I've been given is the shop bought it in good faith from a young lad and his mum. The estranged father / husband is now claiming it is his bass and he only lent it to his son and wants it back. I have some issues with this: The shop must have had it for some time before trying to move it on eBay, then the auction was a 7 day auction so there was plenty of time to reclaim it from the shop; also I can't shake the feeling they want it back as they've had a better offer elsewhere... It was a pretty good bargain.
They are doing the right thing I think you are the "first buyer without notice" - until now that is You should return it for the refund, having notified the local police that you are doing so.
