1. Flats next?
2. Two inputs/speakons/whatever would have helped on your cab!
3. Never understood why players can't just own and play 4s and 5s. Totally different instruments...and it's great fun to be able to play both. I swap between all the time.
4. I dont use the features of the RH that often, but I like having them. Tubetone/Tuner are great!
5.
Well it wouldn't look bad in your collection, if you're man enough perhaps if you un-order one or two of the 35+ basses you seem to have on order since time began you might be able to afford it. lol
Lol dont tempt me!!!
6. http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/store/guita...pearl-m-n-23164 I've seen a store selling them for £950 so just make an offer if you go for it.
7.
Sure? Out of curiosity, what is the consequences of having this crack in the neck, like what is going to happen to it eventually? Thanks
I'd just not want the hassle. Unless you think it's a bargain, that could, could be structural. Only a luthier could really know. I'd play safe and get it a refund.
8. I want a sunburst or oly White 5 string now, rosewood/blocks. Can't afford it though.
9. Wowwww
10. The Aguilar pricing almost matches Berg in the USA, but here...
11. Wow. Seriously nice. First Dingwall that has my attention. I'm guessing they are super expensive?!
12. Refund dude.
13. Just get a 2EQ non-Classic. You can get a Black, Red or Blue without a hardcase for under £1k new, (padded gig bag). My 2EQ was a bit more as it's a more expensive colour plus a hardcase....very nice huge fat tone. A HH will give you the option for a big fat neck H tone
14. Heck...I thought the one I tried was a one offfff!
15.
Bump for a great amp. The Markbass heads are deceptively loud. I moved from an Epifani UL902C - 900W into 4ohms, to a Markbass LMK and was skeptical that it's 500W into 4ohms would work for me. Bizarrely I'm running the Markbass at far lower volume settings than I did the Epifani. For volume comparisons - one band I play with is a seven piece wedding band, with two LOUD horns blasting - and the Markbass NEVER fails to keep up, and that with a long way to go before full, or even half, volume.
Cheers! Ths may be on hold...confirming later on.
16.
I think I need to invest in a Sansamp or similar do you think there is compression in the fx chain?
I cant imagine he sets it up with compression, but he does record bands himself so no doubt knows exactly how to make things sound like he wants. So, Im not 100%. The Sansamp will do it, definitely. I only use compression on my TC amp because its there, but not very often for punk/hardcore, etc. Live, he seems to play right near the neck quite a lot. A very underrated player/frontman
17.
When I saw NOFX live, he was playing his Danelectro DC 59 into an Ampeg head and an Ampeg 8x10, as far as I could make out. Great sound out front too, punchy and slightly overdriven.
Yeah he uses those live because they are so lightweight and dont give him shoulder/back ache. They suit him down to the gorund, but he used to use Ps all the time live.
18. I may have a brand new, still sealed L/XL Markbass T Shirt that I can throw in as well. WOW!
19. P Bass or J Bass, played VERY fast with a pick, with overdriven tube amps. A Sansamp BDDI gets you close
20.
Hmm, how loud do you play? I have a vox AC30 and an orange rocker 30 to keep up with, the peak light on my SVT seldom goes out, also I use overdrive which never helps with the peaking of the gain section.
Ive used it in two hardcore punk bands. One with two guitarists using Krank/Marshall 100w tube amps and a 4x12 each Loud little amp...
21.
Trade for a Shuttle 6 ?
Hi! Thanks, but cash only for this one. Cheers!
22. The general consensus is safe at 4 ohms, and will work at 2 as long as you don't do it ALL the time for hours at a time.
23. Thats crazy! How long has it been there?!
