Hmm, if I get a P bass on the Fender rebate ill have 2 Ps, and 1 J. A CV Jazz would balance things out! Ah well, no rush.

I would consider the P bass and add SD pup, but I'd have to get a friend to solder it! I have no soldering equipment or skills lol.

I think its a slightly different scheme with these. Its basically instant money off. You pay less to the store; you don't have to claim it or fill anything in. Hence I need to get a USA P bass (after 6 months of grumbling about the price rise) asap!

[size=3]After asking questions about these for quite some time, Im going to get one for 'undesirable' gigs venues and rehearsals. I used to have the SRyder, which worked, dont get me wrong, but you could tell it wasnt worth more than the normal price. The frets were the let down, IMO, (I noticed they started to wear very fast). It wasn't 'bad' at all, but bits of it started to annoy me, I actually felt much better taking a lower cost bass to certain gigs where space was a premium and we could only fit padded gigs bags, etc. So, despite the fact I shouldn't worry about taking a higher value instrument, sometimes in my circumstances its just easier all round to not have to worry about it. Not only that, we rehearse for free in the drummers small 'drum room' in his garage, which is heavily insulated, but space is very tight and cymbals loom right near me. So, which will it be? The Squier Classic Vibe 60s Jazz in Oly White/Rosewood/Tort Or the... Classic Vibe 60s Precision in Fiesta Red/Rosewood/Tort? If there are owners out there, let me know, especially if you currently own or have owned these basses. My only worry is the Fiesta Red looks VERY pink...is it?! I will NOT be modding, apart from some strings later down the line. Which has the 'best' pickup (s)? (As stock). Yeah, the ceramic in my Sterling 5 is stunning. Very bitey and quick response. Almost like a cross between neo and alnico. As much as I am indeed wary to order again, as I have S&T checking things out, I think this time it will be fine. Im pretty certain as much as I wouldnt mind waiting for a crazy colour like tangerine pearl or sky blue, I have a HH tort guard here, and I know that an a White Ray is calling me! Non-matching headstock, because as much as they look great, im pretty happy with good ol' natural. The rest of the cash...well....Ill have to have a think what to do with that

Oh heck! Another HH Ray I think...although one thats been checked over 100%, and is in stock with S&T.
