Hi Rasta mate I think there's still a prob I cannot see the picture of the front of the bass and I also cannot believe it has not sold yet
Cheers for letting me know buddy, not sure what is happening here as i can see them on my PC. I've put a link to the old pics on the main thread and tried to upload another pic. I'm equally surprised its still here too, although i don't mind as i get to keep it longer. I'm actually coming around to considering keeping it and perhaps selling my Fender 5 and or/my Fender 4 for that matter - the Laky hands down is a better quality bass.

Here mate, :- http://basschat.co.uk/topic/206648-fsft-lakland-5501-with-nordstrands-absolute-bargain-l500-new-pics-update/ - Awesome 5 if i'm honest, just I don't need two 5's right now and the other i gotta keep for 'long story' reasons despite the Lakland being a much FAR superior bass, better sounding, better B string (Laklands have the best low B's ), better versatility....blah blah PM if your keen -
I didn't get a chance to try a 5 string lakland yet but did play a bass yesterday with the Nordstrand pick ups. The sound fantastic and the solo'd neck pick up is really nice. I just bought a new to me imac as my laptop melted otherwise I'd be all over this. Maybe in a few months if it's still here!
Yeah the Nordies really make this bass. The neck sounds very P bass like and has a great soul warm tone. iMacs are the way to go too, good man
Ugh! This is nuts. Right scale length, right pickups. Why is this still here?
Yeah mate i'm surprised too, especially at this price. Sign of the times i guess . I'll keep on bumping now and then, but equally i'll keep on playing it too whilst its in my hands....best low 'B's ever on Laky's.

Yeah I've just stacked mine, Fender USA 2000 Jazz (i think). I love the tonal variation with having tone control on each pick up....far superior to the one tone in my opinion. I get a lovely soul warm tone with the bridge tone rolled off but the neck tone up....yeah two tone all the way .
Well the previously mentioned Squier P-J is one new one. Ridiculously good for the money. Then today I read the email. "Conratulations..." Oh, here we go... "You have won the prize draw for the Warwick Alien acoustic bass on Facebook" I suppose Facebook had to be good for something!
That's proper 'awesome' Den...well done matey
We (more specifically I ) need pics! Ahh, go on, go on, go on. BTW, how, long did it take you to sand it down? The finish on mine looks bomb-proof! Edit: sorry, bit of a thread derail there. I'd say 400-450 depending on condition, finish, etc. As you were.
Haha keeping to the thread, i'd say £400-500 too, i think they're a lot of bass for the money and easily worth more IMO. Going off thread, well it took about a week to sand, blood sweat and fears. It still isn't perfect but its livable. I so much prefer the bass now though. Despite going all passive with Wizards trads it still retains some of that woody growl of the Warwick tone. Its a weird one as i didn't really believe all that 'it's in the wood' milarky but i guess now i'm a believer Anyhow, i've said it a billion times...great basses!!!...and now my main gigging bass...again Link here to build thread & pics http://basschat.co.uk/topic/207017-advice-on-finishing-a-maple-warwick-body/
