2. Nah, I'd just blame the cancer-bearing Romanians and sue someone.
 3. Fascinating. So if you mistreat a lithium battery to a sufficient extent, it is capable of behaving other than as intended? I wonder if the same is true of aerosol cans or bottles of home-brew beer. Now this Pope, catholic is he? Still, looking at the bright side, it doesn't appear that lithium batteries give you cancer, damage house prices, or encourage Romanians to come over here and sign up for our generous welfare provision.
 4.
Interesting Rich. I've operated a few subs that are susceptable to depth charges.
Fixed it for you. We Dive At Dawn ...

 6. Now him, you see, him, he needs those sunglasses. Or maybe even bigger, sillier ones.
 7. Every bass player should own a PA. It sort of goes with the territory ...
 8.
I assume the lack of valves and the weight.

I think he means that it still has the weight of the AD, yet none of the benefits of big iron*. Lose/lose.
Both right, plus it has the really rather tinny look of the OBT which totally belies what a great-sounding amp it is. Worst of all though is that there doesn't actually seem to be a benefit involved here. I have an OBT because it sounds really very good given how lightweight it is. That makes it ideal for venues with access issues. I have a Matamp because the sound is so good that it justifies the weight. That makes it my first-choice amp. Where does the OB1 fit into this? The best it can hope for is sounding about as good as my Matamp (yeh, right), in which case I'll keep the Matamp thanks. Oh yes, and my Matamp cost less than that too.
 9. I would want to see much better photos than that, and I'd want to know what that weighs.
 10.
true however the terror only has 2 pre amp tubes, the ob1k has basically 2 pre amps it appears, and thats where the weight has come from is my guess. andy
So adding an extra pre-amp takes the weight up by 15Kg? This amp looks like a Marketing-driven clusterf***. All the worst features of both the AD200 and the OTB in one neat, over-priced package.
 11. +1 for Friedland, excellent piece of work that book, makes no assumptions about your playing ability or experience, just walks you through from the very simplest blues stuff to some seriously challenging areas.
 12. You could at least have offered a Mullet Warning, Force 5.
 13. Does yours come with a free pair of daft sunglasses?
 14.
CAPTION?
Hand over the bar takings or the DB gets it ...
 15. At least there's no sign of a bear saying "could I have a cookie?" Disclaimer: That comment will mean absolutely nothing to you if you are under the age of 50.
 16.
... we have a charismatic front man who strips down to his underwear and interacts with the audience,
I tried that at our last gig. My case comes up next week.
 17. More photos of this bass (pre-upgrades) in action at the Greenford Carnival in 2012. http://s1128.photobucket.com/user/h4ppyjack/library/Performance/120630%20Greenford%20Carnival I liked this bass so much that, when I sold it back to Clarky, I went out and ordered a KK BabyBass to replace it.
 18.
I don't think you'll be seeing vintage ones in years to come.
So the few that do make it through will then be vintage AND rare and all the more desirable as a result ...
 19.
Personally, I prefer the sound of the band without the cheesy piano
Hmmm ... the honky-tonk piano in the background has been a core part of their sound all the way back to Piledriver. It's not there on every song (obviously) but there are quite a few Quo toons that simply don't sound as good without it.
 20.
Being able to put together a band in any genre is fine, but they'll always be second rate compared to bands who actually care about that genre.
Amen to that.
 21. Ace? How long has this been going on?

 23. One thing that slightly disappoints is that none of the other readers are offering any review or comment. What do you all think guys?
 24.
Am I the only person thinking that the best thing in the photos is the Maple in the background....
I'd have preferred rosewood ...
