1. Well done. Feels great to have a like button on a post so people can react without having to post a comment. Good stuff
2. ...Just a bit of fun. Descriptions seen in ads that maybe true but are faintly ridiculous. (I'm not pleading innocence here by the way) I'll start with... 1. Plays like butter (often spelt buttah) 2. Never been gigged (never really seen the point of that one) 3. All original (so what if it's as good a bass you're telling me it is) 4. Bought it new for £1300 a week ago. (Take it back to the shop) 5.?
3. Solopress. Just had 1000 a6 flyers for 20 quid free next day delivery.
4. Any of the Joni stuff with Max Bennett and John Guerin. Perfectly understated bass and drums.

6. Buy from Phil with confidence. Smooth transaction. Thanks Phil.
7.
I'm not so sure, I reckon in a blind test the scratches, clicks, and hiss of the 'superior' vinyl record would be a dead giveaway! The only advantage I can see to them is that they are big enough for decent artwork and sleeve notes you can read without a microscope.
With you there Dave. I really miss the size of an LP when it comes to artwork.
8. Top top fella. Very easy to deal with and was glad to help Dave out with his Tbird Gas!

10. Pretenders were great and the drumming was top notch. Really enjoyed first aid kit as well.

12. Cheers Guys. I'll proceed with caution...
13. Getting quotes of around 100 to send a bass with value 1500. Seems a lot to me so any advice welcomed.
14. The case is so big that it's a real pain in the ass to put it anywhere other than laying it across the back seat of the car and I've got a Saab 95 estate. The epi case is really good though. Just need an even bigger car.😄

16.
Ill have a check on weight when i get home. If you google it, then youll probably get a fairly accurate figure. With regards to the finish, i dont think they did white. However, i dont know what its original colour was.
I'm guessing that's the undercoat. I'm sure I read once that a lot of basses were actually oversprayed at the factory if they needed a certain finish for an order. I.e. black over sunburst.

Back on again TRADES: Vintage JAZZ, MM SABRE (pref Sunburst but black is cool) Interesting and old is floating my boat right now.
18. 😂😂😂 My biggest issue was with it flipping forward (the bird not the snooker) I added a strap button towards the horn (bridge side) which really helped.
19. I love the look of jazz basses with a natural finish. Gratis bump glwts
