1. I quite tempted by the programmable 3 ch one, is it the same internals in a different box?
2. Yeah Red Onion, would highly recommend think it was about £40, silent and very positive switching. Power is for the LEDs only.
3. Here's my intricate setup: Wah always on switched in and out with the loop pedal, love the wah but hate having the switch at the top of the sweep.
4. Now that would be a good endorsement, I'd wear a Ginsters T-shirt on stage! Ginsters kick drum skin, pasty shaped bass anyone?
5. I'd do what Mog says, contact GK and say you've been offered this deal but really like their gear is there anything they can do for you? A few bands round my way are 'endorsed' by Monster, one even got a Herbalife endorsement. WTF? Seems to be the in thing to put your gear on your myspace even if you're not endorsed as well.
6. Stunning bass
7. Cool, thanks!
8. That's a good tip I'll check out some US sites for an Artist, even been searching for the Jolana Disco:
9.
I paid £500 for an RD Artist with non-orig p/ups and electrics which I reckoned was fair.
Lucky bugger, love the (look of the) artist bass what's it like to play?
10. You're right! Can you remember how they're wired? Is it ring- battery ground (blk), tip - pup hot (red), and sleeve - ground (bare)?
11. Stole the input from my Peavey Millenium to use in another bass but want to get the peavey working again, only have a red and a black wire to connect. Will be using a switchcraft input unless there's any recommendation for better? Cheers
12. Palm muting and picking with the thumb? Use that method for some dub lines I play, instant thump.
13. Anyone know if this case: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tweed-Bass-Case-Fend...887ea85f3#rpdId Will fit a B301? Internal width is 36cm which I think is gonna be tight? Am waiting for a B301 to be delivered want to get the case on the way too! If anyone can measure their guild for me that'd be awesome Alternatively any other cases I should look at (quite like the tweed though!) Cheers Gareth
14. PM replied bump
15. Bumping, any offers?
16. Offers considered!
17. Good condition, few scratches to case but connectors, knobs and switches are all fine. Used it with my bass for a while but the last couple of years it's only been used on the occasional vocal recording. £60 posted inc AC Adaptor.
18. Bump, really need to shift this to get some cash. Trade wise I'd take an Aerodyne and £200 Cheers!
19. Price changed after consultation!
20. Had this for a good few years now and a combination of funds being low and wanting to try something new mean I'd be willing to sell this for the right price. Spector Euro LX35, 4 string/35" scale for low tuning, one of these: http://www.thomann.de/gb/spector_euro_4_lx_35_bs.htm I have two nuts for it, the one on there at the moment is for standard 105 (currently strung with Newtone "Low C" 105 guage) but also have one for 135 guage for tuning to BEAD. Slight scuff on the bottom corner Crack in finish just in front of neck p/up Just showing the grain in this one! Buckle rash Has been gigged hence the couple of dings but I've been very careful with it! Viewings welcome (Sussex). Would consider offers around £850 w/both nuts, strap inc strap locks and Gator hard case
21. I think starting lower is better than too high! Basically want to offer a service for bands who can't afford to go into a 'proper' studio. Have recorded my mate's covers band in this way I'll post up a link later. Thanks for the help!
22. So maybe £10/hour recording and £20 mixing/mastering per song? Sound reasonable? That would work out at £100 for 3 songs recorded in one session, mixed and mastered. How about that includes one evalution and tweaks before mastering with extras mixes @ £15?
23. Hi guys, going to offer my services to the bands around my area. Real simple deal of recording them in their practise space live. Just wondering how much I should charge? 4 hour rehearsal is £35 (covered by band) and I'll be paying £10 for mics and lead hire. Was thinking ~£50/song mixed and mastered? Don't really want to charge per session as I put in a good number of hours on the mixing front and I'll be going along to a practise session to hear the songs they want to record first. Any comments are very welcome! Thanks Gareth
24. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may07/arti...ronicssigma.htm Owned for about a year and only used twice, absolutely mint condition has always been stored in its protective case and used with a proper pop shield. Fantastic mic, if I didn't need the cash I'd be holding on to it! Bank transfer, paypal (gift or buyer pays fees) or cash on collection. £350.00
