Having investigated I think the best way will be something like the Badger or Wounded Paw, gonna be a lot less hassle.

I'm want to combine 3 signals; clean, OD1 and OD2 rather than switch between loops...

Been experimenting with reamping recently and really like my tone with: Clean - Catalinbread SFT - Ashdown Hyperdrive running parallel. I've had a look at the blending pedals like the Badger Schism but they seem quite expensive. If I can make a pedalboard that protects it what are the potential pitfalls of using a mini mixer like [url="http://hq.pingdynasty.com/blog/2011/03/29/modded-soundlab-mixer/"]http://hq.pingdynasty.com/blog/2011/03/29/modded-soundlab-mixer/[/url] to blend the signal? Any recomendations for micro mixers appreciated!

So I don't have half the settings for the MOTU card that the website says I should but as far as I can see this should work?

Evening all, just after a little preemptive trouble shooting. I've got a session this weekend at a studio I've used before, they have the Focusrite hooked in all the time. I've found that (think I've got this right) I can run my battered MOTU 828FW as an AD converter into the Focusrite by rerouting the outputs to ADAT (no problem with that, step by step is on the MOTU site), giving me 16 channels. Will I need to reconfigure the Focusrite at all? It's not mine but I don't think there would be a problem if I needed to assign tracks 9-16 to the ADAT input...which is what I assume I might possibly need to do? Not a big problem if it doesn't work but always nice to have options. Thanks

I arrange our practises, book gigs, book studio, book mics, plan recording sessions, make click tracks, etc After letting everyone know about a gig that I'd just got us I was overjoyed to receive this text from my guitarist: "Can you please ask him (drummer) and figure out when we can record his drums. I'm ******* bored of waiting. Just pick a weekend and then we* can book it" That was just after christmas. Got everything booked and sent him click tracks w/guide bass around the 10th Jan. Still waiting for him to finish his bits and send them back! *hahahahaha

Ordered a speakon cable late monday through ebay, bit of toing and froing re which address I wanted it sent to (sorry again!) and arrived safe and sound this morning. Great service and product as usual!

Very happy using my Diago doubler to run an SFT at 18v. There's a noticeable 'space' (only way I can describe it) to the sound compared to 9v.

Late to the party but I'll be having a go at this. Very interested in the K-metering, one thing that's always bugged about my mixes is that they feel a bit 'squashed' and reading the article about K-metering I can see why!
