Had this for a good few years now and a combination of funds being low and wanting to try something new mean I'd be willing to sell this for the right price. Spector Euro LX35, 4 string/35" scale for low tuning, one of these: http://www.thomann.de/gb/spector_euro_4_lx_35_bs.htm I have two nuts for it, the one on there at the moment is for standard 105 (currently strung with Newtone "Low C" 105 guage) but also have one for 135 guage for tuning to BEAD. Slight scuff on the bottom corner Crack in finish just in front of neck p/up Just showing the grain in this one! Buckle rash Has been gigged hence the couple of dings but I've been very careful with it! Viewings welcome (Sussex). Would consider offers around £850 w/both nuts, strap inc strap locks and Gator hard case

I think starting lower is better than too high! Basically want to offer a service for bands who can't afford to go into a 'proper' studio. Have recorded my mate's covers band in this way I'll post up a link later. Thanks for the help!

So maybe £10/hour recording and £20 mixing/mastering per song? Sound reasonable? That would work out at £100 for 3 songs recorded in one session, mixed and mastered. How about that includes one evalution and tweaks before mastering with extras mixes @ £15?

Hi guys, going to offer my services to the bands around my area. Real simple deal of recording them in their practise space live. Just wondering how much I should charge? 4 hour rehearsal is £35 (covered by band) and I'll be paying £10 for mics and lead hire. Was thinking ~£50/song mixed and mastered? Don't really want to charge per session as I put in a good number of hours on the mixing front and I'll be going along to a practise session to hear the songs they want to record first. Any comments are very welcome! Thanks Gareth

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may07/arti...ronicssigma.htm Owned for about a year and only used twice, absolutely mint condition has always been stored in its protective case and used with a proper pop shield. Fantastic mic, if I didn't need the cash I'd be holding on to it! Bank transfer, paypal (gift or buyer pays fees) or cash on collection. £350.00

2001 Ashdown ABM 300 (not EVO), one of the rarer (superior!) made in the UK models before manufacturing was moved abroad. Limited edition chrome front. I bought this amp new from the Bass Centre in '01 and it was my main amp until last year, when I picked up my Fafner and EBS 410. It has done a fair few gigs and has some scuffs, have shown the worst one. Everything works as it should except the bulb for the VU meter which I choose not to replace when I had it serviced 2 years ago as it's purely cosmetic. Tube blend pot is a bit scratchy when turning but no problems when set. EQ is very flexible with a combination of dials and sliders to fine tune tone. Min load 4Ohm 300w/600w peak Jack speaker outputs Footswitchable mute, EQ shape and subharmonics (sub level controllable on front, great for adding a bit of thickness or using as an effect) Line Input Effects Loop Input gain w/passive and active inputs Input mix (12AX7 tube blend) Push flat In/out EQ In/out Sub Mute switch on front Tuner out on front Sub out on front DI output with pre/post EQ on front. Very sad to let this go as I've had it for so long and it's never let me down, but new car forces sale. Demos and cash on collection (Sussex) welcome. Will accept paypal (gift or buyer pays fees) and bank transfer. Thanks for looking! £200.00 posted.

First up Hiscox LiteFlite Case: SOLD nEar05 by ES1 Monitors Mixed my band's EP on them but have only used them once or twice since then and have some Tannoys now. Mint condition with two speaker leads that I bought at the same time. £160.00 posted and not sure if I want to sell this but if someone makes me a good offer: Ashdown ABM300 300w/8 Ohms, Limited edition chrome finish. This is one of the original made in the UK ABMs, not the EVOII. I bought it from the Bass Centre in 2001 so has been around a bit. VU meter bulb doesn't work but the meter does, tube blend pot is a bit scratchy and there's a few scuffs (it's played a fair few gigs!)

I've got one of these and had the 'clunk' as well, bought a loop pedal and have the wah always on, just switch the loop on when I want to use it.

Got them on a couple of weeks ago but only had the first loud practise with them on sunday. Very impressed. Needed a full setup which was easy enough (truss rod, action and intonation) and although they are a bit slacker than the 135s I was using the tone is so much better! Not as woomphy as the thicker strings but still a nice thick low end, definitely more defined on the lower frets on the low C as well. Need to play with the EQ a bit now. I'll update as I play them but first impressions are very, very good.

Used these for a couple of years as my main rig, both 300watts @ 8Ohms. Switchable horn off - low - high Speakon in [s]and link[/s] was wrong about this! Link on the jack sockets only Jack in and link (one cab is missing the nut around the link socket) Signed by Adam Clayton. Spoke to Martin Burrows at Ashdown when I insured them and he said to replace them it would £1500 each. £500.00 for the pair Collection in Sussex preferred but can arrange to meet somewhere for a bit of petrol money. Pics to follow later.

I would never buy anything from Music Ground again. Bought a B302 from them in May, paid over the odds because I really wanted one and it arrived broken. Got messed around trying to get them to fix it so decided to send it back for a refund instead, which I finally got last week after getting my Credit Card company to get the money back (sent the bass back in May!) Was told the refund had been processed every time I rang, one time they even said they'd fax me the refund receipt (surprise surprise it never turned up) Shame really because it was a nice bass and if it had been working I would have kept it and been happy!

I got a mighty mite fretless neck from the states for about a £100, would probably need to do some sanding to get it in though.
