  1. Now Sold! Please lock :)
  2. I don't mind at all good sir! It's really a great bass, hopefully someone gives it a good home GLWTS
  3. Thanks! I do have the Gibson up for sale but I gave it another go with a decent setup and i've completely 180'd on it. It sounds huge, easy to play, very lightweight and tonally varied. I don't think they sold very well originally so they do seem to be few and far between. I got lucky with mine when someone put one on ebay 10 minutes walk from my house
  4. First rehearsal room practice in years, still sounds as good as ever!
  5. What a beaut! Congrats
  6. Bargain! These are great bits of kit, I read recently that Michael Lepond (Symphony X fame) has basically replaced his board with one. GLWTS
  7. I used to have an Ibanez SR1206 which had these in, absolutely stunning sound! I still miss it. I'd say go for it, it'll be a great sound and it's the only way you'll know for sure whether it's what you were looking for or not.
  8. PM sent
  9. Trades now considered, i've updated the original post
  10. Absolutely bargain! If I can shift my Gibson on here I would take it off your hands! GLWTS
  11. It's an old OLP MM1 (I think that was the model name) guitar. My intention was to take it apart, strip the finish down to the wood, add some extra controls as it only came with 1 volume knob, and put it back together. Just never found the time
  12. Bought a Macbook Pro from James, and I can't fault him at all. Took the time to send videos of everything working, opening webpages etc. Dispatched within the hour, arrived early the next day, bomb proof packaging. An overall great experience, and the man is a testament to the BC community. Thanks again James
  13. I wish I did! Unfortunately with gigs, weddings and a honeymoon to allow for I'm already down to the scrapings of my holiday allowance. Might have to pull some all nighters around release day!
  14. Haha, almost certainly! Although 2022 is turning into an expensive year so it may have to wait 😂
  15. Now Sold!! ------------------------ Hey everyone! Up for sale is my Gibson Eb 5 string from 2017. I've owned it since January and it hasn't left the house and before that it spent most of its life in its gig bag so it's in immaculate condition. I'm only selling as I just can't get along with 5 strings (or really anything that isn't a jazz type) and I've just bought a macbook off another BCer so I've got to recoup the money. Here's a link to all the specs http://legacy.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/2017/USA/EB-Bass-5-String.aspx but if there's anything you'd like to know please ask. It really is a wonderfully versatile bass with the push pull coils giving a massive range of tones. Collection from Peterborough is preferred, although I'm happy to meet up within reason. Trades considered would be an Ibanez SR or Warwick Corvette, something with a bit of low mid punch. Cheers, Tom
  16. Just a few of my personal favourites from inspirations Justin Chancellor's Wal John Entwistle's Buzzard Conner Green's Dingwall
  17. Met up with Andy today to trade basses. Lovely guy and a genuine pleasure to deal with! Thanks dude
  18. This has now been traded if someone could lock this please?
  19. Holy cow! That is a thing of beauty, congrats!!
  20. Hi everyone, Up for sale is my Squier Vintage Modified Jazz V bought on here from @dannybuoya couple of years ago. As great a bass as it is, I'm struggling to adjust to 5s and it has sat practically unplayed for this whole time. I'm just looking to get back what I paid for it. This has a modified 'Finger MYBASS' headstock logo, glow-in-the-dark Luminlay side dot markers and Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups (plus the originals). It is in superb condition, no marks that I can make out. Pick up welcome or local delivery possible to Peterboroughs surrounding areas. Any questions hit me up!
  21. That is already looking like a truly stunning bass, amazing work!
  22. Can't wait to see the end result on this one. What an interesting project, thanks as always for sharing the process involved!
