  1. I've had this lying around for too long now, and I just need to get rid of it. £50 and it's yours! Pickup only from Ramsey in Cambridgeshire.
  2. From personal experience, I'd go with a Ashdown Five Fifteen, minirig or combo. Ive had my 1x15 Five Fifteen for about 3 years now, with no problems at all. Good for practise and small gigs, lovely tone aswell.
  3. I'm in a real pickle over which one of these to pick get towards the end of the year. My band is starting to get more gigs and i'm currently running through a Ashdown Five Fifteen, which just doesn't have the umph for the gigs im playing anymore. I've got about a £550 budget, and would really like 4x10 speakers and a multitude of tones, but im not sure which of these three to get. I play in a grunge/hard metal band and my guitarist uses a marshall avt150 head through a marshall 1960a cab. I also play with a clangy harris esc. tone. With your experience and knowledge, which one would you say would most meet my needs. Thanks in advance.
  4. I recently bought a HyperDrive and it's fantastic, any suggestions on sounds though? Ive been looking for a Entwistle, 5:15 solo kinda sound, but no luck so far. Cheers
  5. Yer, I was looking at the Ashdown Five Fifteen, but i dont know whether to get that or to get a head this month and a cab next month, like a Warwick Profet 3.2 and an Ashdown 4x10 Cab.
  6. I've never owned a OLP Bass, but i bought the MM1 guitar last year for £160, really really impressed with build quality, sound quality, even the photographic finish on top looked impressive, well worth the money, and i have no doubt the basses will be the same Go for it!
  7. I know this type of thread has been done before, but the results haven't really fitted my criteria, so i now ask for everyones advice. I need to get my first bass amp. It has to be at least 70 watt, and have the volume to perform in loud practises and small gigs. The more EQ and tone options the better, and the amp would be running with a Fernandes Gravity 5X and a Ashdown James Lomenzo HyperDrive Im looking to spend around £100 - £150 but can push to £200 if the amp really tickles my fancy All opinions and contributions will be much appreciated Let the posting commence!!
  8. Thanks guys I think she's a defo now, just wanted to run it by you first 13 days left yay!
  9. Im really interested in buying of these amps at the end of the month. At £119 i thought it would be well worth the price, but you guys have put some doubt into my mind lol Whats your opinion? Should I go for it or not.
