1. how many pedals depends on the pedal requirement and the one spot capacity, measured in milliamps. So if the onespot is rated at x milliamp output, as long as the total pedal requirement (all added together) is below this, it will be fine. Just to be tricky, some measurements are given in watts. The calculation is volts x amps = watts. We know the volts is 9, so to work out the amps, divide the watts by 9. (1 amp = 1000milliamps). sorry afterthought. The previous info only deals with the power consumption calculation. Actual use depends on particular pedals, all modern ones have standard coax connectors with centre negative and are (electronic) noise suppressed, so no problem. some older ones (check on the case or spec) have a centre positive connection which is ok if not connected to signal ground/earth/cold, just reverse the power input plug connections to that pedal. i've never done any damage to a pedal by the wrong polarity connection (they were protected), but if you have a board with the two types, be very sure not to touch opposing plugs together as this will short circuit the power supply. Just for more difficulty, i spent a long time trying to integrate an old 'analogue and proud' moogerfooger pedal into a board with just one power supply. These are electronically noisy which affected all the other pedals down the power line, so in the end it had to have its own power supply, regardless of the reverse polarity connection. copious apologies
2. oh oh, is this a basschat race for the disappeared hare. good luck everybody but mostly to me.
3. i have one of these, use it a lot. the only gripe i have is the silly after thought limit switch on the top, which always gets knocked. the input gain is for optimum input level, there is no growl like the analogue GKs.
4. what we need is a giant bass boot sale in one place to browse/haggle, buy or not buy. anybody think where?
5. i'm assuming this is sold. damn.
6. thanks for the courtesy leschirons, i'm hoping to be next in line, in line of whoever is in line.
7. is this still up for grabs, could probably get to you, i know a young one looking to learn. apparently 1D do have a bass player./
8. karma. went to china for recycling and will return as a cardboard shipping bass box. will it end up in paisley?
9. let me know if this stays available please
10. ok, checked it out and it's 34" scale and 16.5mm bridge spacing, so it's not for me, thanks anyway anyone got an unwanted fanfret 5-string neck to offload?
11. not that illiterate. what's the scale length and eventual bridge string spacing please
12. "I had trouble uploading pics ..send me your email, and I'd be happy to send extra pics." "Fed up with tyre kickers and photo collectors" change of heart then. good luck with the sale.
13. lovely instrument. i'm passive myself so if anyone wants the electronics, maybe we could sort a joint offer. also, any idea of the make of M/M pup and any more pics please of complete and back of bass.
