a bit more gloom, the recommended drivers, while having excellent performance characteristics, are 8R nominal. optimum impedance for single driver use is 4R.

if the driver is coming from U.S., i suspect there will be import duty, postage of course and then the dreaded VAT on the whole lot. i bought a fretfile from stewmac for £29 which cost me nearly £50 in the end.

are you really saying that a replacement 12" wizzy driver is £80? that's great, my mate has just blown his, what's their phone no please.

whoops, maybe i'll get this one right. two of these units were up for sale in america last few months. one had 200$ reserve not met. other (with posh bag) went for 120$. so, if still available and assuming working condition inc valve circuits, i'll match that and offer £60. just up the road in oxford.
