    A wise man once said "The man who maketh no mistakes has not played a saturday night at the dog and duck" Don`t beat yourself too much, all gigging muso`s make mistakes. Punters don`t usually notice or if they do they are usually in a band themselves and they don`t count as you are the one up there putting it on the line and they are scratching their chin with half a bitter wishing they were up there making mistakes.

    I ordered a set of Schaller tuners from them on monday and they arrived yesterday. Great service and communication and I got them cheaper than I could from the UK even after having to pay the 10 euro postage as it was below 199.

    I have 4 at the mo but had 9 at one time which was mental as I wasn`t in a band at that point! They all have their uses. Thunderbird. Was going to sell but will be used as a live backup. VMJ. Converted to fretless and used at home. P bass. Well you`ve gotta have a P please Bob! And my latest purchase, a Sterling Ray 34 ca. I have recently joined an ac/dc tribute band and not having 2000+ to buy a 79 Ray ala Cliff williams, this one looks the biz and is top notch apart from the tuners which will be replaced by a set of Schallers this week. I would relly like to be the type of guy who owns 2 basses but it ain`t gonna happen.

    Really nice basses. I had a red/maple neck one a while back and they are exc value for money. Well finished and very comfortable to play.

    Epiphone T bird for sale. Collection only due to size/shape. £95 It is a fantastic sounding bass, this thing sounds hot for a passive bass, strap button has been moved to eliminate the dreaded neck dive. Why so cheap I hear youi say. Just after getting it I decided I was fed up with the colour and gave it a red/orange paint job. Then a satin black paint job Halfords paint. Ye canna whack it!!! Something I won`t be doing again! The paint job ain`t too bad, no runs or anything like that. I have also changed the crap plastic tone/vol control knobs for black metal ones. There are a few chips on it but overall it`s in ok condition. It is what it is. And it`s cheap!! No postage or trades but would meet somewhere close by. I also have a really nice, brand new Roksak bag made for this bass but would be looking for £30 for it as it cost me £45.     I don`t think that is a head repair, just the way the neck has been manufactured. It`s a right nice looking bass. I had an Energy and although it wasn`t as nice as whatever this is, I regreted selling it as soon as I got rid of it. The neck on it was superb.

    Anyone want this stuff? If so pm me your addresss and I`ll post it to you. Fender owners manual. The one that comes with a new bass. Gives all the info for settings etc. A few bits from Jim Dunlop Straplock. Don`t know where they came from but they might be handy for spare parts if you use this brand. 2 Ahem, Fender transfers. Pretty crap, if I remember right you peel them off the backing and rub it and it stays on the whatever. [attachment=110007:SAM_0502.JPG][attachment=110008:SAM_0503.JPG] These bits have now gone.

I`m keen to know why you though the other ones might fail? The DD are decent pickups.

    I have Lee playing with Rick Wakeman from a few years ago on his Grumpy old man show. Fantastic playing on Starship Trooper. Top player!
