Interesting, your comment about tone getting a bit thin if the bass is backed off. I experienced the same with my BB2 and GK MB800, it seemed to lack a bit of meat when bass was backed off, but was too heavy on the low end if the "bass" was left at 12 o'clock. I cured this (for me) on the BB2 with a Mesa d800. It can still be bass heavy sometimes if i'm stuck in the corner of a room, but i've found lifting it up on a chair reduces the bass tipup. Thinking about adding a supermidget for slighly less bottom. Like the Vanderkley 210LNT on paper, but it's just a bit bigger and heavier for my needs.

Ive also had wear with Roqsolid, thick padded cover worn through in about 2 years where ot rubs against my leg while carrying from car to gigs... On a BB2. Not impressed, i notice official Barefaced covers are made elsewhere now

I also had a 1 inch short cover ordered direct from from Roqsolid, this was a "vertical cover", ie slid on from the top of the cab. They remade it, it was too loose and slid off the cab when you were walking with it, i bought a "side" mounting one and the size is fine. They have the wrong sizes and aren't clear on leeway.

I have MB200 and MB800, if you like the Mb200 sound ( I agree it does compress when pushed), get an MB500 or 800. I haven't got anywhere near feeling the MB800 compress. I've also owned a Streamliner, i found it a bit dark and tone controls didn't really help too much for me, so check it out before going that route.
