  1. C’mon fellas, a bigger board = justification to buy more pedals 😂
  2. About time, I was beginning to worry.
  3. I’m still sore that my exit was necessity and not GAS 😤 I haven’t got a P bass anymore so in my head the game is still on to not buy one this year...
  4. Blocks on a Stingray??? 🤔 Not for me, but for those who love blocks, good call EBMM 👍
  5. They genuinely make me dizzy 🤮
  6. All on eBay now thanks to their £1 selling fee offer
  7. Loads of fun for £25, entry level multi fx unit with amp simulations and built in drums and loop option. Great condition, works perfectly. Takes batteries, which have a good shelf life, or can be used with a 9v PSU. I also have a Boss PSA-240 I can sell with it for £10.
  8. It’s Mackie, so it’s great quality and with decent pre amps. 4 channels. Cheers.
  9. Just sold Mark some bits, easy going sale with a good guy. Cheers!
  10. I’ve got 6 months under my belt for no bass purchases - which I going against the grain. Shame we can’t have a partial membership as I’m keen to keep that one going!
  11. I had one and loved it for minor EQ tweaks, to me it sounded natural and my basses tone wasn’t overall coloured, if coloured at all. The internal trims were super helpful to matching the EQ settings to what I felt the bass needed IMO. But I had to move it on because it wouldn’t work with my (then) new set of Fralin split coils, it kept overloading the preamp and clipping. I sent to back to John to get it checked out, but he found no fault.
  12. I’m in a similar position, selling all my dedicated pedals. Ive had my Stomp a few days, and whilst there’s no doubt it’s a great bit of kit, it feels like quite a compromise in some areas. But the size and content mean I’ll stick with it, and I’m sure over the next few weeks I’ll get more of its best out of it. But if I was in a position to keep some of my dedicated pedals then I would for sure.
  13. If it’s a great neck, how about putting it on a P bass body? Like that one you liked in the abstinence thread. Decent body, Fralin pickup...mmm.... 😍
  14. Haha! No, it's all for real. I feel like I've crossed over to the dark side going digital... 😈 As for bass purchases, I'm still going strong thank heavens. 👍
  15. Argh... FFS... I'm out 😡 I just bought a Helix Stomp as I'm selling my pedalboard due to space issues and for the surplus cash. Hey ho.... 🤣
  16. Pedalboard **SOLD** Pedaltrain 3 - £70 - 24" x 16" Home use only, great condition. It’s discontinued, the nearest equivalent is the Novo 24 which is slightly smaller. it’s the same width but not depth (is 24” x 14.5”). All now sold - Pedals ***SOLD*** Aguilar Tone Hammer **plus 18v power supply** £130 – Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. ***SOLD***Electro Harmonix Bass Clone (chorus) - £40 - Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. ***SOLD*** SansAmp Bass Driver - £120 – Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. ***SOLD***Empress Compressor - £130 - Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. Amazing compressor, which also sounds awesome on bass or guitar. The LEDS are very helpful and keep you on track if comp isn’t your usual thing. Reviewed in the link below. http://www.ovnilab.com/reviews/empress.shtml ***SOLD *** 3Leaf Wonderlove - £110 - Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. Rare painted version. Has a small issue - there is an internal switch to set buffered or true bypass. The true bypass option that has a fault but Spencer at 3Leaf sent me instructions to fix it and I purchased the relevant spare part, he said it’s a 5 minute job for someone in the know. But I never fitted it because it sounds great for me in the buffered mode. I'll include the spare part and a copy of Spencer's email and instructions. Confused about bypass and buffered?... read here... https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/blog/2017/04/26/true-bypass-vs-buffered-whats-the-difference/ ***SOLD*** Darkglass Vintage Microtubes - £120 – Boxed and Instructions. Velcro on rear. ***SOLD*** MXR Bass Octave Deluxe - £90 - Boxed and Instructions. ***SOLD TC Electronic – Polytune 2 mini noir - £40 Velcro on rear. LINK TO MY FEEDBACK PAGE -
  17. I love that you’re gigging loads and getting good use out of some outstanding basses. Top stuff brother. Enjoy the 30th at the weekend.
  18. By the way, she’s a stunner 👍
  19. That’s just all too PC Warren! I’ll rephrase then... how are you getting on with the Special and are you finding it’s a ‘go to’ bass for your gigs, or are the older Rays in front of it, or equal? 🤣
  20. Do you prefer the Starry Night over your Stingray Special?
  21. Thanks for the info. I’m now on a Mac, but due to full time work and being halfway through a Masters I’ve got no time to use Cubase - oh the irony!
  22. Good to hear 👍 Cheers
