1.
I'll try and get some pics up of my 3 MM's this week. Just restrung my Silver Sparkle SR5 with DR Green Neons...Looks rather snazzy if I do say so myself
As promised! Apologies for the quality, the pictures were taken with my iPod Touch... 1999 Stingray 4, Trans Teal with Mirror pickguard. Maple neck, Rosewood Fretboard, with Hipshot De-Tuner and 2 Band EQ. Currently strung with Flats (Although I think I might swap them to the Fretless...) 1989 Fretless Stingray 4, Trans Red with clear pickguard. Maple neck, Unlined Pau Ferro Fretboard. 3 Band EQ and Nordstrand MM4.2 pickup. Currently strung with Rounds 2005 Stingray 5, Silver Sparkle with Black Pearl pickguard. Maple neck, Maple Fretboard. All stock apart from a new nut. Just restrung with DR Green Neons, 45-125. Can't really tell in the pictures, but it's a real "Gliterry" finish in the flesh! And the obligatory "Family shot"...
2.
More Pearl Blue awesomeness! As for the pickup height I would raise the DG end up as far as you feel is comfortable for your style ( I have raised my pre EB too far and I keep clipping the strings on the poles when Im giving it some) then lower the EA end down until its balanced, The secret is to lower the EA end rather than keep raising the DG as the pickup and pre amp have enough output to have it quite far away from the strings anyway. I guess this youtube video classes as EBMM porn especially as it contains the Blue Pearl bass that is so popular right now? Shameless tedious link plug
The bass tone on this tune is superb! Love it. Good tune too. With regards to the Sabre debate, now that they do Stingray HH models, there's not really much point, is there?...or is there more difference than I thought? Hopefully someone can enlighten me! 3. Hi Andy The second speaker in that Dr Bass Cab looks awfully small for a 10! Looks to me to be a 6 or 6.5" Cheers
4. Depends what you're after PM me with anything you're looking for specifically. I'm interested in the BEF by the way.
5. My one doesn't have the Mix knob. Must say I've never really noticed the need for it, so I'm wondering where do you usually have it set?

Boss/Digitech/MXR

It's really not worth asking which brands are "better" than others. They will all provide different sounds and it really just depends on what you want for your sound. Just because someone doesn't like the DigiTech, doesn't mean you should rule it out and go for the Boss. By all means ask for opinions on specific pedals, but to disregard entire brands is overkill IMO. Moral of the story: Try what you can, and buy what sounds good.
7. If you liked the sound of the Prometheus, check out its big brother, the Prometheus Deluxe. It does everything the Prometheus does and SO MUCH MORE. I have both the Prometheus and the Proteus, both are awesome, but I STILL want a Deluxe!
8.
From 1994 here's some Old Scratch, basically we improvised pretty much everything except the song titles, which got progressively more awkward to make things hard for our vocalist reading set-lists at gigs. With that in mind, I present Mystical Wizard Of The Unknown Information Transformation Formation Proves His Point Yet Again We honestly thought we were visionaries at the time and even got that played on national radio a few times From more recent times, a music forum over here was having a theme-based song thang, the theme being Superheroes, so I recorded all of this in my sitting room, even the drums The Hawk
"The Hawk" is BRILLIANT. Is it Microsoft Sam on vocals?
9. Thanks mate! Had some interest but still available!
10. Analogman with the Deep Mod. No better bass chorus out there. Usually come up for about ~£130. I've had 3 of them, because every time I sell one thinking I don't need a Chorus, I just HAVE to buy another one!
11. I'm 30 seconds in and I already want this guy's babies.
12. If I'm not mistaken this used to be mine before Mark Latimour's. It's a very fine piece of kit, and for that price you can't go wrong. Good luck with the sale mate!
13. Completely forgot about these! I'm at a wedding tomorrow but I'll try and get pics up Sunday!
14. Would also consider trades/part ex on a 6 string bass. Looking to try one
15. Bump. Small cabs/Lightweight Amps/Bass trade offers accepted.
16. Hi there, I'm available for deps/gigs/tours/sessions. I have my own pro gear, and I play a variety of material. If you'd like to see some of what I do, check out my YouTube channel here: Videos PM me on here for my number if you'd like to chat! Cheers James
17. Any interest in a part ex for my Jazz?
18. I don't have any pictures of it by itself, so here's a family shot from a couple of years ago. She's the only bass in the picture that's still with me! 1982 Squier JV Precision, all original except Dimarzio Model P pickup. She also now sports a Hipshot Detuner. It's the best Precision I've ever played.
19. Would also trade/part ex for a small combo/cab for playing at home. Ideally: Ibanez Promethean Combo Aguilar DB/GS112 Cheers
20. Cheers dude! *Shameless plug Alert* There's more videos on my channel including some Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, and Muse Cool, good luck with the projects, I'd be interested to see them when their complete
21. Open to anything really. I'd prefer a sale as I'm short on cash, but thought I'd put the trade in there in case anything cool gets offered! Wouldn't mind a 5 string Jazz, or a fretless Jazz 4, but as I said, open to anything really. Typically I prefer more 'Standard' basses like Jazz/Precision/Stingray etc. Would also be open to bass + cash offers if the bass in question isn't worth the same amount. So long story short, what would you be offering?
