1. I bought a Lakland Skyline DJ4 from Dave. His communication was excellent, and the bass got here packaged beautifully, with absolutely no trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again for a second. Highly recommended!!! Cheers Dave, James.
2. Sweet story! Glad you got a chance to meet Paul. I've met him once before myself, and he is a great bloke.
3.
It works through the bypass but when you turn the pedal on it makes very horriable noises and crackles loads.
Sounds like it's functioning perfectly to me (P.S. I'm not a big fan of the Blow Torch )
4. Argh, tempting, as I've just bought a DJ4, but I dunno if I'll need it as it already has a J-Retro installed. Have you tried a J-Retro? If so, how do these compare?
5. Dave, just a quick Q. Does the bass come with the original control plate etc? Cheers
6.
What if they have gold teeth. you could pick em up after?
I would pick them up and throw them into the nearest river.
7. Alexis is a good friend of mine - He actually now has 2 of the white basses (which WERE inspired by Zender's) but the first one got a crack in the body from flying internationally, so he had a second one made.
8. If anyone spilled a beer over my pedalboard, they would feel their teeth explode from their mouth as my foot swings full pelt into their face. Either that or I'd just get them to pay for any damage
9. Thanks! I been after a White Jazz with Maple fingerboard for ages. As soon as I saw this I fell in love! Hehe. The Lakland DJ5 I played at the Bass Gallery was nice, so I'm assuming that this bass, with the J-Retro, will be amazing
10. I'm glad it's gone to a Bass Chatter too. Even happier that it's me!!

12.
I accept that I did a mistake, as I didn't know all these about the original and non-original Mutron, but now I know as I have done the appropriate research. I just realise that people just care about prestige and not about the actual thing. It's a pitty but this is why some things are so unreasonable expensive........ This pedal has exactly the same quality and sound as the "original" one. It's as the same exactly appearance and buttons, even the way it works is the same. So, don't try to underestimate this wonderful pedal, because it is not the "original". It seems like there a few people out there that would prefer to spent a fortune for the "original" one just because it costs a fortune. The reality is that there is no difference between these two in terms of sound and quality. I'm really sorry for advertising it as Mutron III and not as Mutron III+. That's why I changed the ad - I didn't try to cheat the basschaters. All the best, Jordan
Hi Jordan, I appreciate that you're just trying to sell your pedal, but telling everyone that both Mu-Trons are the same is false advertising. You say you have done the "appropriate research", but based on your comments later in the post I would say you haven't done enough. They are completely different. The only similarity is the looks. The circuitry and components are completely different, and while the III+ is actually an "OK" filter, it has NOTHING on the original. I'm not saying it isn't a decent filter, I'm just saying if you want that authentic Mu-Tron tone, you'd have to look somewhere else.
13. Yup, that's the Re-Issue, not the original.
14. You know you want my sexy blue one ner-ner you can't have it ner-ner
15. This Hellbaby was the very last one available. I really wish I could buy it back, but I bought a PS3 yesterday, so funds have gone kaput Free bump for a great guy to do business with
16.
I'll add a proper price for the Jet Phase now, I'd like about £240 including postage. The postage is costing quite a bit because I'm sending it special signed delivery and due to the large size and weight it will be quite a bit.
Don't forget the postage price covers insurance too, which you want on a rare and valuable item like this, so it's worth paying that little bit extra!
17. I get most (if not all) of my pedals from America. I've also had nothing but positive experiences from Tonefactor. Ebay is another good source!
18.
haha heard the clips i'm tempted :/ 40 inc postage sound good to you?
All I ever see you do is low ball sellers. At least PM your offers, and not post them here for all to see and laugh at.
19.
Sorry Dave, I didn't mean to mis-inform anyone about your excellent product (which really is, it's great using a guitar fuzz, with just the BOB the blender, just can't tame my whole pedalboard!). I was confusing you with another electronics expert I was discussing a passive blender with. Tom
Tom, the Barge unit you currently have was a custom order for me that included a third footswitch to bypass the blend pot Completely stock otherwise though.
20.
but buffered blenders mess with tone more than passive blenders
But OTOH, Passive blenders mess with your impedance and can cause all kinds of hum and hiss.
